I don't know if I missed any USPS privatization related discussions in this thread but I am 110% on board with it. Been waiting for 4 weeks for a package that was supposed to deliver within 7-10 days, and USPS has no idea where it is. Absolutely insane

I don't know if I missed any USPS privatization related discussions in this thread but I am 110% on board with it. Been waiting for 4 weeks for a package that was supposed to deliver within 7-10 days, and USPS has no idea where it is. Absolutely insane

I've never expected all that much from the USPS. FedEx is who makes me curse. They're generally fast, but apparently to save money, they hire angry brain damaged baboons and gorillas to handle all their packages. I've had more stuff delivered by FedEx show up broken than by everyone else combined. Their loaders and freight handlers see the word Fragile as a challenge. I ordered 11 bottles of hot sauce from a company last week and when they arrived yesterday, the box was beaten all to Hell and one of the bottles was broken. What a mess of glass and tear-inducing hot sauce everywhere leaking through the box. They've broken necks on two guitars I bought over the years. I recently bought a set of 5 cast iron skillets. After FedEx delivered them, I still felt compelled to check carefully to make sure they hadn't gotten broken in transit! They just beat the $&#*@ out of packages.

Fedex gives zero fucks. My best doing experiences have always been with DHL.

About two years ago we mailed a package. I kept the receipt with the tracking number. They never could find it and I still get the occassional email from them saying they are still looking for it. lol

Need to quit pussyfooting around. Obviously sanctions and slaps on the wrist have done nothing to deter Russia. In the past Russia said accepting Ukraine into NATO would invite war. 100%. I’d argue that we need control of the canal returned to the United States and if not then take the whole country by force and make it a US territory. Panama also directly enables many of the worst criminals in the world with their financial systems.

In a related story-
Now that Trump has won, they are revising all of their numbers during the Biden administration.

The govt initially reported Q2 of 2024 had 653,000 job gains. It was actually NEGATIVE.

There was also a revision of 800,000 jobs from last year. They falsified the data to try to help Biden/Harris. They will likely spin the economy negative now that Trump is President.
