Light show + fireworks are electric, but the music isn’t there yet. Still have made a lot of strides over the last 5 years there.

That being said the priest intro to Mo Bamba was fucking amazing. I wish I had a video. So incredibly ND.

Some of the music choices could have blown the stadium up in the late third/fourth and in the key moment they went with Don’t Stop Believing. As you said it’s definitely improving but not there yet

It was awesome!
The only thing that was off about the presentation was the 4th quarter "lights out" portion. Weakest it's been since they started doing it against USC in 2021.

You know what’s really crappy is ESPN has an article labeled “Irish hold off Hoosiers”like it was some kind of last-minute down to the wire win. I can never remember the media ever been so negative against a team consistently like they are toward Notre Dame.

I mean, if they make that 2 pt conversion. That onside kick was for the tie.

But we won by 10 and on to the Sugar Bowl.

Move your keyboards to the politics fellas.

This is why asked the mods to entirely block me from the politics thread. I don't even see it anymore.

I love you guys. Many of you would hate my politics online, but in person I'm convinced we'd be besties.

Everything is politics, sports are political, but not when we talk about our favorite team.

Go Irish

Their timing still sucks. They do the same thing the band used to do. They play a chant or song or whatever and they let it go too close to when the offense is actually lining up to snap the ball. So the crowd might be into it, but they're not doing what they're supposed to be doing which is literally just screaming "AHHHHHHHHH" at the top of their lungs.

Postgame Thoughts:
1. The atmosphere looked great- loved how loud the crowd got when IU had the ball.
2. The defense gets stronger and stronger every game.
3. Watts encore year from last year- he is our silent/humble weapon on defense.
4. Leonard Moore is going to be good for ND, he played great coverage last night.
5. Bowen...future Butkus award winner??
6. The Love 98 yard TD run, he has had a ton of exciting plays this season.
7. Faison was fantastic.
8. ND has a deep depth- we lose a guy to an injury and next man in.
9. Huge confidence booster for Jeter to make his first 2 FG's; even though he missed his last one.
10. ND is a team I wouldn't want to play.

Go Irish!!

I have been going to games for almost 40 years and, while there may have been some games that had more exciting moments or louder moments, this was the best environment of any game I’ve been to from kickoff to alma mater. As other people have said, everyone stood the entire game. Everyone was loud, especially on third down or during other key moments. It would be amazing if we could capture that environment for every game.

Great to hear. It just confirms to me that atmosphere issues are about lame match-ups. The fanbase is hungry but we can't cheer for a punt fest against Stanford once we get up two scores.

The narrative is IU didn’t belong vs. ND is better than anticipated.
This guy nails it on the head. Herbstreit was blabbering that IU had the best chance of pulling a first round upset. He said they would score more than 20 blah blah blah. Next morning he suddenly has an epiphany that has nothing to do with ND's performance. Herbstreit suddenly saying IU didn't belong in the playoff. All pure BS

He specifically picked IU to win the game against ND.

Of course Kirk can't acknowledge ND as one of the best 2 or 3 teams in the country despite all of ESPNs own analytics basically telling him with numbers.
