Looks like because of the weird murder laws in NYC he’ll only be facing 2nd degree.

Luigi's mom narc'ed. That's not a good sign for him. Wouldn't be shocked if the Feds bring additional charges and NY ups their own.

Must have been incredibly hard to do, but good for her having the fortitude to do the right thing.

I think she was probably just relieved her kid was still alive. Dude has been off the grid for a minute
I think that probably played a part as she knew it was just a matter of time before they caught him and would prefer he be apprehended alive.

UPDATE: The Christian school shooter is 15-year-old Natalie Rupnow. She used the online name "Sam" or "Samantha" and advocated for the extermination of every male, from babies to the elderly.

Correction my apologies to the trans school shooters

“Stop asking why schools don’t have bullet proof glass and metal detectors at all the doors,” Barnes said. “Ask why schools have to. That's the question that needs to be asked.”

I’m sure it was fascinating stuff. Sad really though some of these kids can’t get real help and not tik tok help

Wonder if it's a coincidence that school shootings became a thing in the era of single income families being basically impossible.
How hard is it to be aware of your children? And to a greater extent, where are the grandparents? They say it takes a village to raise a child but often times that village rarely includes both parents and grandparents. I am in a large family and I have brothers and sisters that are very irresponsible but I still make time to have their children come over Just to make sure they are OK. We have bread, a culture that is wanting to be way too independent and entitled, and nobody knows how to ask for help, but at the same time, nobody knows how to give help. Then we complain when government needs to step in Or we complain when they are not stepping in.

Having a parent home with the kids is definitely a plus when raising kids, but it's not impossible today. It's a matter of setting priorities and not having to buy the latest electronics, new cars, eating out frequently, expensive vacations, etc. We raised five and I didn't have a salary that made her staying home easy, but we managed. TBH, I never saw a difference in our lifestyle with just two kids than with five.

Part of the issue is the internet and video games. Kids who spend time outside playing with the neighbor kids or play sports instead of secluding themselves every day are better adjusted and learn basic social skills that allow them to deal with things.

Damn, she belonged to my gun club. Yikes. Luckily she still was a shitty shot.

Come on man. This like one step away from blaming avocado toast. It is impossible for a giant number of families which grows larger every year, and it's not because people have iphones.

It's just a question of want. Being poor is a mindset. Parent's just simply don't want to raise their kids, they'd much rather be at work because it's just a choice to stay at home!

It’s not that hard, really. It’s such an easy read for me. The stats in all the things that matter are and have been trending in the wrong direction for years. Mental health issues, religious affiliation, single parent homes, marriage rates… families and communities are not strong and that is what good societies are built on.

You mock but poverty is something very real and can be very much a mindset. Problem is parents don’t know how to raise their children… the destruction of community and family is huge. When we have weak communities and weak families we spawn weak people.
