Might as well do it. Not like the NFL product quality isn't already suffering. Everyone doing 5-7 years of college should make QB development absolutely astounding as we enter the late 2020s.

I’d rather Klubnik than Ewers if they’re actually going all out for a transfer. It’s the only one that makes sense in terms of scheme, fit etc. I’m still not convinced even though ndfan69 has a good record

I considered if Klubnik could be a candidate. Seems unlikely but crossed my mind.
I don’t think you get Ewers unless you’re telling portal WRs that is the case and want to bring in an entire package under that guise
There is only two QB's that they would be all in on like this. Ewers and Haynes King. King is more likely because he is a pure dual threat that Denbrock likes and I'm assuming that Carr is okay with this or else they wouldn't be doing it. The only other guys who I could see would be Morton from Texas Tech or Becht from Iowa State.

I think the CFP will work out in NDs favor for the portal. Might help retention and let the money hungry teams duke it out for the early entrants. I mean the bidding wars for multiple Purdue players and guys like Miller Moss is hilarious. The portal at current state is not that impressive.

I never considred Klubnik, but I would absolutely take him--especially if Carr may not be ready and he is agreeable to the transfer. If he isn't ready, he could technically redshirt another year to give him more time to heal. I wouldn't be mad at that.
I'm going to guess 1 of the WR's is Nic Anderson from OU you haven't heard anything on him visiting schools

Math is easy here. Been widely reported that RK and Hartman were around the $1M mark. 4x is $4m and we just saw a report that ewers was offered $4m.....
