There has to be a realization that we are in the professional model era of CFB. This is no different than when you hear your favorite MLB team has discussed Player XYZ or has been involved in trade talks with Team ABC. No smart GM will not at least discuss upgrades across the roster. Everyone talks.

The two worst kept secrets that would be commensurate with the Hartman and Leonard signings would be Milroe and Ewers. I’d be shocked if at least 1 does not transfer.

It is a weak QB class, kind of a weak everything NFL class. The wild cards are Allar and Beck with his injury. Allar could play his way into 1st round this year not next status. He will have likely two showcase games and then versus NFL defense in ND/UGA. Not sure about Beck’s injury having an impact. Sanders and Ward likely the other two.

Ewers I’m rather confident he is considering the portal. Milroe I don’t know but I can’t see a first round ground there currently. Get paid and transfer.

If it is neither of them, I would pass barring a shocking name available. Certainly not a name like John Mateer is worth it.

I really do hate the new college football landscape. Go back to making them sit a year or make them pay back their tuition that they were comped.

Only thing is the amount of consecutive transfers! They shouldn't allow more than two and no transfer allowed in consecutive years without a hardship or waiver. This will eliminate alot of the boneheaded decisions and have kids actually make much better choices about school besides NIL in this format.
