The issue is that many/most ND fans (some of whom will sell their tickets to IU fans) don't have their tickets yet. When they see that a ticket with face value of $150 (or whatever) is worth $1,000, what will happen?
IU doesn't have the same diehard fan base the SEC teams do so i don't see thousands of hoosiers fans paying $12,000 plus for tickets

Alright, lots of rushing talk and their Rush defense. Let's look at it closer, there are 134 teams in the top tier of CFB. The best rushing team they've played so far is Ohio State, the 69th best rushing team in the nation at 169.2 rushing yards per game. The average rushing rank of the teams they've played is 102nd (out of 134, again). Notre Dame is 10th at 224.8 rush ypg. Not here to argue, just showing numbers:

From ESPN…..

Sean McDonough, Greg McElroy
and Molly McGrath will call a first round (No. 10 Indiana at No. 7 Notre Dame), quarterfinal (Allstate Sugar Bowl) and semifinal game on TV together, with reporters Laura Rutledge and Katie George each receiving a semifinal assignment yet to be determined.

I wasn't commenting on her fandom (she went to Backup College), Roll Tide is a euphemism for "pretty lady."

I know, I was just making a joke about my disdain for that program. She's going to be the best thing on Notre Dame's sideline since Flannigan left.

The number of ticket listings are slowly increasing, as if lottery results are trickling out rather than being blasted all at once.

I’m a season ticket holder and put in for this game. I got an email saying I will receive my tickets by this Friday so I don’t think many have them yet to put on the market.

You don't have to have them in hand to list them.

I did the math, and for essentially the same price as a ticket to the IU game, you can fly to New Orleans, stay in the French Quarter for 3 nights, and have a ticket to the Sugar Bowl.

Looking ahead is stupid I know, but it’s something to consider.

I'm driving but my hotel was $500/night and that isn't even the FQ. I'm staying in the Warehouse District, but I did book a room I can cancel in case I wanna move....not because they may lose.

Is it safe to assume that most of the Sugar Bowl tickets for sale are in the Georgia fan section?

Tempting to buy 3 tickets. Is there a chance the price will go down, or do people believe this is a good floor?

An I.U. buddy sent me this:

Imagine if someone told you during the summer you would be engaging in shit talk with IU fans about the upcoming playoff game against them in December.

Don't call my self rich, but debating if they will go down in price. The tickets I want are 1400 a piece.

Hedge with a reservation at one of the local bars. If ticket prices don't drop you can still at least tailgate all day and be warm watching the game
