I can’t root for Michigan to win. I tried that when they played IU a few weeks ago and I projectile vomited all over the dog on the opening kickoff. Just didn’t sit right with me.
I hear you and will likely end up the same. But playoff lens, do we want OSU to fall or too early to know that impact?

Are others finding it difficult to know who to cheer for from a seeding perspective? Do we want Michigan to win today? I just want to avoid OSU in 1st round and them losing may make that possible.
I almost think Ohio State losing today would make it more likely we meet them in the first round. They’d be 10-2, miss the Big Ten title game, and probably seed somewhere between 9 and 12. Whereas if they win they either beat Oregon and land a first round bye, or lose and still finish in the top eight.

I feel like our seeding is pretty well set depending on the outcome of the PSU game today and however we do. So I’ll just root for as much chaos as possible.

UM beating OSU again would probably give them another edge to recruit. Don’t need that.

That said, Ohio State losing would put Penn State in the Big Ten title game, right? Penn State then getting rolled by Oregon and exposed as frauds is probably our best chance of landing the five seed, which would likely be by far the easiest road to the semifinals.
So… Go Blue? 🤮

Not saying you're wrong, but this isn't the first time UGA has looked like doggy doo against a mediocre team.
Agreed. Not sure what’s amiss in Athens b/c it’s not lack of talent. Even when GT was up 17-0, I knew that missed FG would haunt them. It’s like Holtz used to say about his ND teams: he knew there’d be 2-3 times per year where he couldn’t get his team to avoid a mental letdown so he had to hope that it would come vs opponents w/ inferior talent & they could still win ugly.

I am ok with Michigan getting some top recruits actually. They can go there and become irrelevant. It does serve a good purpose for us. It might keep Moore around. As long as he is there, Michigan will be bad. Another net win, it keeps the money seeking studs away from OSU/Oregon/and the SEC. Spread out those kids and keep winning at ND with awesome culture and our own talented, smart kids being coached up.

That being said, I want them to lose for sure. I want OSU and Oregon on the top half and keep ND on the bottom half. My perfect scenario, beat SC by double digits, jump PSU to 6. Keep OSU/Oregon loser at 5. Open at home vs. IU. Have Miami beat SMU (SMU actually kinda scares me a bit), beat Miami, beat SEC champ in semis. Then beat OSU/Oregon winner in finals.

Classless. Read where Ruhle walked through the Hawkeyes warmup as well. I never took him as a douchebag but maybe I‘m wrong
This Athletic article tries to justify this by saying "well Iowa has beaten Nebraska in some close games so of course they're salty." Which is not how this works...

Yeah sorta but my guess is Clark Lea will do his part to close better than Brent Key did last night. He gave the refs a chance to do what they do.
