I haven’t seen this but I struggle to imagine a picture with a better cast. Wow. The modern equivalent would have to be something like The Departed.
Holden is fantastic in Stalag 17 - another great movie from that era
The Dirty Dozen is pretty stellar with a great cast. Ernest Borgnine, Robert Ryan, Telle Savalas, Lee Marvin, Charles Bronson, Donald Sutherland, George Kennedy, John Cassavetese. Jim Brown was also in it, but I don't think he was that good of an actor.

"The Hit" from 1985. A British gangster movie directed by Stephen Frears, who went on to have a decent Hollywood career in the late 80s & 90s. Terrence Stamp is a London criminal who testified against his cronies in the mid-70s then fled to Spain. 10 years later, a hit duo (John Hurt & Tim Roth) show up to take him to see the big boss. You got a great cast doing terrific work. I'll bet this is a movie that Tarantino & Guy Ritchie watched over and over.

I finally got around to watching Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. Typical Tarantino with lots of gratuitous violence and crazy situations. Actually a pretty good watch.

I'm now about half way through Mr. Church, an Eddie Murphy film. Not your typical Murphy movie. It's a straight drama about a dying woman with a young daughter and Eddie is their cook. Excellent so far. Highly recommend.

I get tired of the witty dialouge in his movies. It's like when I would watch Gilmour Girls with my wife years ago.

This movie was pointless.

Comparing Tarantino's dialouge to Amy Sherman-Palladino and calling his most understated work pointless.

Twisters was pretty good, but never cared for her acting.

Not even sure where to put this. It can be moved if needed.

Streaming on Netflix tomorrow night is the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight.

Anybody going to watch? What are your predictions? Tyson looks good in training. Paul might get broken in half.

Taylor Serrano II is the only proper fight on the card

I’m interested. Mainly to see what a 58 year old boxer looks like. Maybe boxing needs a senior division like golf?

I'm not convinced that this is a real fight. I fear that it's more pro wrestling than actual fighting. I'll still probably watch just to see if Tyson can bust Paul up.

14 oz gloves and rumors that Tyson will get less money if he knocks Paul out lol

I want to see something akin to Hagler-Hearns, but sounds like this is going to be as staged as a high school production of My Fair Lady.

All the sites (and ticket sales) said Costner’s “Horizon Part 1” was a flop…but I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to Part 2.

Growing up watching westerns in their heyday, I plan to watch it. It was a flop form the standpoint of how much he spent to make it and the ticket sales, but from what I read, the production is excellent.

It’s a long one, but you sort of expected that coming from Costner. I watched it in two sittings. Thoroughly enjoyable.
