It’s not all on Judge but he has gone missing. He needs to respond the way Lebron did after an early reputation of choking.

Freeman with another bomb. As long as the dodgers win he is the MVP.

And then the dumbass yankee fan that tried to take the ball out of Mookie’s glove after paying all that money for a seat. Yikes

Freeman has been unconscious and he may not be done. It's going to be a long time before anyone beats that record. Tip of the hat to him.

Those two fans are idiots. Can't believe they did that.

Yankees started swinging the bats instead of watching and their pitching was better last night. While Judge didn't park one, he looked like his old self in the box. The only way the Dodgers don't win it, is if their pitching falls apart and the Yankees pitching gets on track.

Told ya. If you look back, Dodgers haven’t scored much after early innings. In fact, outside of Freeman; their bats may be colder than Yankees. Lux is trying to set a new MLB record for most roll over ground ball outs to 2B. Muncy couldn’t hit sand if he fell off a camel & may as well start every count 0-2. Ohtani has been ice cold since his shoulder. Now you got Cole going tonight who is untouchable & Flaherty going for the Dodgers who is up & down but more down than up & is not afraid to give up the long ball.

There hopefully I’ve badmouthed them enough do get a win tonight…LOL.

Up 3-1. You sound like Lou Holtz talking about how bad the Irish played after winning 35-0. lol

That was one game. I wouldn't dismiss them so quickly. The question is, do we get the good Cole or bad Cole? He has been pitching better late in the season, but he had a rough outing in the playoffs. We're at the stage where both teams have seen the pitchers before, so who picks up on the pitchers tendencies faster may be the key.

Nothing like a good October fan interference incident. I feel like we're owed this.

You know me too well. I grew up w/ Holtz sandbagging and it rubbed off for better or worse. I never celebrate until it’s final. Tonight it’s final.

Congratulations. I stopped caring about baseball after the ‘94 strike, but it sure is an amazing feeling when your team wins the championship. I hope I get to experience Notre Dame football, the only team that I truly care about, winning a title.

Congrats.

That was as embarrassing as it can get. Wasted a great outing by Cole. Yankees defense has been suspect all year, but those errors were something out of the Twilight Zone.

Give it to the Dodgers. They kept going like the Energizer Bunny.

I am not a dodger or yankee fan but Freddie was a great staple for the Braves organization. Super excited to see him do well

- 3x World Series champion
- 2018 MVP
- 8x All-Star
- 6x Gold Glove winner
- 6x Silver Slugger
- 70 WAR

11 seasons. Mookie Betts. For as much as we talk about Trout, Ohtani, Judge, etc. this guy is a generational talent. Worthy of more celebration than he gets IMO. Hasn't exactly played in small markets either.

Side note: 21 years ago Steve Bartman had to go into exile after Game 6 of the NLCS. Those two morons the other night are probably going to be millionaires before by the end of next week if not sooner. Society has truly fallen.

Had Judge made a fielding error all year before that?
Baffling on his part.
Edit: just looked it up no errors this season and just 1 other in the past 2 seasons.

I am not a yankee fan or a judge fan. But I will give Judge credit the reports we asking him leading questions as why he didn’t catch the ball and he said I missed it. He could have bought in to all the excuses they were asking him and didn’t. Good job Judge.

Agreed. Judge is a good ambassador for the sport & handles his business. And it’s not lost on me that the Yankees are seen through a similar lens as ND Football. You either love ‘em or you hate ‘em. Being a star player for the Yankees is similar to being the QB of ND. Better haves some thick skin b/c expectations will always be too high.

Be sure to watch the Netflix doc on the 2004 BoSox 0-3 comeback. Really entertaining to hear from both sides & hear them recount what they went through.

This is so true. I typically pull for the underdog, yet I'm a fan of two of sports biggest Evil Empires!

I enjoyed it.

With Boston Theo had to match the Yankees free agent for free agent, trade for trade. When he won with the Cubs, it was a complete teardown and years of futility before they were finally ready to compete. My biggest takeaway was that the moves they didn't have happen ended up working out for the best.

Didn't get Billy Beane, didn't get Alex Rodriguez.

Snell to the dodgers for 5 years with deferred money. They are gonna have a lot of money tied in the future

Ugh. Don’t like that signing. When he’s good…he’s the best but that’s only twice in nine seasons. He‘s only reached 180 innings in a season twice (the two Cy Young Award seasons). In the other seven, he never reached 130 innings. I’ll be shocked if he finishes that contract in a Dodgers uniform.

ND & (presumbly) Army fans were chanting “Let’s Go Dodgers!” as a retort to being stuck in line trying to get into Yankee Stadium before kickoff despite being at the game an hour ahead of time. What a shit show.
