He doesn’t know how to coach defense and is 100% reliant on having a DC that can autonomously handle that side of the ball.

Yeah this sudden change to power option would flumox most defenses for a possession or two but this is a great example of Al Golden saying (paraphrased) "if you need to wait until halftime to make adjustments, you're toast."
