I thought the same thing when Adam's did this. I thought 'they are going to destroy him'. Maybe all this is just a coincidence though.

I guess he feels he can speak more freely now. He's been called Hitler too. 'Everyone I don't like is Hitler!'

Harris is literally stupid. She can’t answer simple questions that she knows are coming and has been prepped for.

And Trump is far from senile. Biden however, I think we all know.
Objectively, she's not. She's not a great orator, but she has a JD.

I don't know how you can listen to Trump on Rogan, and come to that conclusion. The whale and wind turbine segment is a real banger.

Haven’t listened to the Rogan cast. Is it really that bad? Can’t be worse than Harris and her recent/only media interviews. After the CNN town hall, CNN said that she debated herself and loss.

Dems keep and keep spewing this nonsense that Trump is fastidious. He’s the complete opposite.

It's not even close to bad, or close to Kamala's best work. People who say it's so bad are partisan. It's not enlightening, but it's a good conversation, goes into depth and stories, it's a fine listen.

There’s zero comparison in senile Joe and Trump. Zero

the illegals? Why do you support non-citizen voting?
They aren't illegal. That's the whole point. Not that the facts matter to you anyways. Need some way to confirm your conspiracy theory. Even if it's BS.

It’s black or white, either you hold a valid ID or not. If you don’t, then you have no vote

So we’re clear, you’re saying that all the illegals that Harris purposely let cross the border gets a vote?
Dude what the fuck are you talking about? Is this just a really lame attempt to troll or are you not following the conversation that's being had in this thread?

I would never listen to Kamala because it’s typical politician shit. But Trump at least has the potential to be interesting, and it’s really sad to see him no longer have that same bite. He had weird tangents about whales washing up on the shore, replacing taxes with tariffs, and couldn’t remember the name of one his staffers. I havent listened to Rogan in years, and my goodness is he a dolt lol like he never tried to pull Trump back to talking about things that would help him politically. It was like listening to two drunk guys at a bar just ramble about nonsensical shit.

I would agree that Trump is very much not fastidious, he is the king of surface level.

Trump is literally 2020 Biden, he goes back to the classics but he’s lost a big step. He forgot the name of one his former staffers Stephanie Grisham. Old Trump would have roasted her, but he mumbled around while Rogan tried changing the subject. Rogan even jabbed him about his rambling. I can see why Trump sticks to friendly interviews, and even then he’s begging them to not run ads for Kamala lmao. Old Trump would have no issue with it and probably roasted the ad.

Biden 2020 was a basement campaign. Trump is working long days. It’s not comparable.

Have not heard the podcast as noted. Why is Harris not taking it?

And, again, Trump still has his fastball. This he’s Joe Biden shit is digging deep

When you suck so bad then you have no choice to keep pulling for straws. All of a sudden Trump can’t walk the stairs of a plane.

Give me a break

That whale discussion wasn't a tangent. They were talking about clean energy (Joe asked about nuclear) and they both moved on to speaking on how awful wind farms are, which lead to the brief mention of the ones out in the ocean that are significantly disrupting and killing sea life. This has been studied by environmental groups and there is a massive amount of money trying to cover this up.

Completely agree with the tariffs replacing taxes thing. It's insane in the year 2024.

I've actually been listening to Rogan off and on for over ten years. My defense has always been less towards Joe and more towards his guests. He has a lot of really interesting, smart, experienced people on his show (in between the drunk/high comedians). I've learned to take Joe's comments with a grain of salt on most topics (while also acknowledging that some topics, he actually knows what he's talking about --> health/fitness, hunting, UFC, comedy/Hollywood). While doing that, it's easier to focus on what his guests are saying. Even the controversial ones, he's later invited back along with another guest who has oppositional views for debate. Joe got so big that I think a lot of people put pressure on him to suddenly become something he never was and is never going to be. You say "it was like listening to two drunk guys at a bar just rambling about nonsensical shit," and that's exactly what JRE has always been. He's actually talked about this numerous times over the years.

DJT is older, but to think he’s senile is silly. The dude has been on a brutal schedule for weeks that would have worn physically and mentally on any candidate regardless of their age. If he happens to win I think we’ll see a difference as his schedule will be much less challenging and he won’t be trying to catch some sleep on a plane.

I mean, they were talking about oil spills and then Trump moved to how wind farms are harmful. I think we all agree that wind farms are far better for the environment than oil drilling. Not to move this in a different direction but Michael Shellenberger is an interesting fellow with some different very different opinions than mine.

I agree with your stance on Rogan, for me personally I subjectively don't like him because I don't find him knowledgeable to push back on his guest. I think if Kamala was on there with him he'd have been just as personable with her as he was with Trump, but maybe push her on some of Joe's stances on vaccines/trans issues. I think my point is that this podcast has been protrayed as some sort of "See, look how smart Trump is by speaking on multiple issues for 3 hours." When it was really just him riffing about random shit with Rogan who didn't really pushback.

There is a reasonable discussion to be had when it comes to clean energy as being both efficient for the usage demands of our population while also having a minimal impact on the environment. Wind is neither substantial in power production nor is it as clean as climate activists and big money would have people believe (cleaner than oil, yes, but that's moot if it can't provide the necessary power needed). I'm not saying there isn't a roll for wind/solar to play though, so don't take that as me being completely against it. I just find it similar to the EV movement for clean air while failing to consider the mining tradeoff, energy use for charging, etc. I don't know everything there is to know about Shellenberger, but I have followed his journalism for years. My honest take is that he, a self-described lifelong Democrat, didn't toe the party line on some topics and has been ousted by the Left. It happens all the time as they continually "eat their own."

Regarding Joe, there are plenty of times he's pushed back hard on guests for having asinine views; Dave Rubin (regulation), Candace Owens (climate), Ben Shapiro (gay marriage) just to name a few. I've heard him genuinely admit that some times he has a guest on for discussion simply to learn more about a topic that interests him and he admittedly doesn't know much about the topic. I think people find this refreshing because it's not an interview or debate, it's just a conversation. He has a ton of content so it's easy for outside media to grab sound bites and make it appear as if it's something else, but if you listen to many of his shows in their entirety, it's pretty easy to take it for what it is and not expect more or less.

Also, Joe too was a self-described Liberal who basically feels like the party moved so far left that he can't support many of their issues. He's also spoke on this topic many times. So yeah, it's easy to see why Joe would align more with someone like Trump and less with someone like Harris. We all have our biases and Joe absolutely would push back on trans/vaccines with Harris. And in his defense, he tried to push back on Trump when it came to climate, he just didn't push as hard as he probably should've. When he mentioned RFK and how he differs with Trump on different topics, Trump basically said "yeah, stick to health and do what you want but stay out of everything else" and Joe just sort of left that alone even though he knows RFK is a huge climate guy and will likely butt heads in the administration when it comes to climate policy.
