I have this guy being a baller at ND. No brag, but my RB prediction track record is pretty good.
He’ll be a stud.

Young was very productive in hs. He's already rocked up at 229 lbs. He's also pretty fast too which is remarkable considering how big he is already. I would love to bring him in as a short yardage back and be the bruiser to wear down a tired defense. Kid is uber talented.

Young can start this year by trucking down a USC linebacker.

I like the 1-2 of Love and Price, Williams was impressive at the B&G game, and I like the Young comparison to Hughes.

Bith freshman will play you will see love in the slot a lot
I think you’ll see love in the slot when we go 4/5 wide and have the option to motion him back into the backfield.

I don’t think you’ll see love in the slot with our base 3 out offense

On the local news they had a story about the running backs and McCullough said how Love is more of a dynamic player. I expect Love to be more of an all purpose back and do more with him.

He played at a top Texas HS program, and I was pleasantly surprised he ended up at ND. Those kids typically end up at LSU, UT, TAMU. Pulling him out of the woods of deep east TX was a coup. Hoping the best for him.

Does anyone know if he is faster than Estime? 230 with speed would be awesome.

He didn’t necessarily show true breakaway speed on film, but usually always showed enough to just breakaway.

Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s a 4.6 guy right now.

His fastest listed time in the 100m was an 11.18, which I believe was in the spring going into his junior year.

Nothing official but I’m confident he is NOT as fast as estime. He has shown possibly better vision at least in HS

Estime is fast, just not explosive at the first 5 yards… it’s why imo not having the qb under center more had him hitting Los a little slower

Expect big things from the young fella starting next year as long as he stays.

I really hope so. A big RB can really wear down opponents, especially late in the game. It would be nice if he’s fast/quick, too. It seems that the southern schools always have a big back that can really do damage and I’ll always remember Robert Hughes vs USC.

I thought he was really impressive. They’ll have 4 backs next year ready for big boy college football. Unfortunately, I don’t think one of them will be patient enough to wait their turn.

5 Payne will be back and many said he looked the best before his injury
