I wont know if my gutters need cleaned if I don't get up there and look at them.

I gave my 15 year old the basics on why we mow, why we fix things, and why we stay busy on the weekend… “you’ll never win an argument if you can’t lean on a bunch of things you did more than your spouse.” And “even when the grass is all done and the leaves are all picked up, disengage the blade and just drive around so you aren’t asked to do something else or until she starts doing the something you know she’ll ask you to do.”

Wife - “Babe, you mind getting the trash…?” As she’s sitting “resting” from… not even sure honestly….

“Yeah, sure… “ and then proceed to walk out without the trash…

Trash is now sitting right outside the the door inside the garage…

But sex was great last night and that’s ultimately why we do what we do…

Wife - I have a lot to do at home so not sure when you need it.

10 minutes later…

Me - I’m running to the hardware store. I’ll see you in a little bit.

Wife - great, can I come?

Had to remind myself… sex was great last night… don’t screw it up!!
