The Gold Standard: Latest intel on Notre Dame 2025 football recruiting
QB - ND spent BYE week looking at options, but will not be reported on exactly who. ND likes to move in silence when it comes to flips.
RB- Doesn't expect ND to pursue a second back, but that could change.
WR - Jalen Cooper is coming on an OV this weekend, and the staff are really pushing for a flip here.
Isaiah Mizell remains a key target, but Mizell is not in a rush to make a decision, which ND doesn't seem to mind.
Derek Meadows - remains in contact with the staff and there are discussions to return to ND for visit this fall.
TE - not much certainty on what the staff will do right now. ND is talking with Andrew Olesh (UM commit) who has expressed interest in interviews about a visit, but Singer doesn't believe he's a serious target.
T'Andre Waverly did not get an offer, but still very much a possibility. It's always possible that ND may skip a second TE and go after a portal addition this Winter
DL - ND dropping out of recruitment for Tim Griffin. They were working on hosting him for the Stanford game, but the visit is off.
Jalen Wiggins still says he is very solid to Florida, but is likely he comes for FSU game.
LB - ND believes they lead for Faraimo. NOB still visiting for FSU game, ND still a top contender.
DB- Singer was somewhat hinting (over the last month or so) at ND potentially getting back in contact with Ivan Taylor again if he was going to be taking visits. Currently, doesn't see it happening. ND loves their DB class, and especially from what they've seen from Brandon Logan.
*** Believes that NDs class will go as high as 25-26 players (4+ more commits) and then add a handful in the transfer portal.
