Wonder if we see Sneed move to DE with now two DEs out. KVA, Bowen, and Ausberry are more than holding their own at LB and this would help cover a new gap by keeping athleticism on the field.

Does Jack Kiser play this year? I haven't noticed him all year.

He leads the team in tackles... both solo and total.

What’s the deal with Colzie is he redshirting or not playing
You'd think he might be redshirting but he got in to each of the first four games. Had a catch in garbage time against Miami. Wouldn't be shocked if he pulls the plug now to save a year. But, then, I think a lot of us thought he'd transfer ahead of this season. 🤷‍♂️

Just rewatched the game.
-KVA is just different. Good lord.
-Leonard is physically broken but that was his best game.
-We should just go old school Brian Kelly and fair catch every punt/kickoff.
-Louisville is a good team. Stop saying they are not. That’s the best receiving group we will face.
-This team is chaotically entertaining.
-My hangover has a hangover. I made an old fashion with fireball cause that’s all the whiskey the tailgate had left. I regret nothing.

Does anyone notice him out there? Has he made any plays? All other LBs pop every game. Maybe not Sneed last couple, but KVA, Bowen, and Ausberry are play makers.

Yes, the statisticians have noticed him more than everyone else and he only got 16 snaps vs Louisville due to injury it seems.

Is that the only game you watched?

I said spoiler.
Trust me... I got every play by play text from my brother..... I didn't get in until late last night. But I have to watch it to understand some of the posts in here...... I swear you would have thought the Irish lost by some of them.

I've watched them all. Haven't noticed him but notice the others making plays.

Postgame Thoughts:
1. An ugly win is better than a loss.
2. J. Love is very versatile and fun to watch.
3. Our young LB's are getting better and better, Madden Faraimo & NOB you could be next!
4. Brohm lost this game for Louisville, had he not burnt all of his timeouts the who knows what happens on their last possession.
5. Before the preseason started me asking for a 1,000 yard or even a 700 yard receiver was too much, I feel sorry for our WR's.
6. Leonard is Leonard, if he gets us through 4 quarters with a win I don't care what his stats are.
7. The offense still needs an identity, I am not sure the offense will have one this season.
8. The defense isn't the 2023 version, but the younger guys are making the future look good.
9. A bye week is needed.
10. You never know who you will see at ND, Josh Adams was by my dad and I at the players walk; for anyone who remembers "33 trucking."

Go Irish and enjoy a top 15 win!

I watched the 1st quarter in the Joyce lot with a bunch of people I never met. The live takes were even more entertaining.
“Freeman should just go ahead and start Derek Carr’s son”
“Why do we always end up with the slowest black kids”
“The steroids Freeman takes are affecting his offensive play calling”

We beat a ranked team on the road and beat a good ranked team in Louisville. You kinda have to be somewhat good to do that

I watched Alabama and Georgia last night and it didn’t even look like the same sport.

And it’s not a speed problem anymore. It’s a playcalling and execution problem.

To be fair, both those teams are on a different level from almost everybody else in college football. It's not an exclusively ND thing.

But that’s what we’re striving for. I don’t think any of us fans, or the team, is striving to be Louisville. I thought this team was headed in the right direction, but it’s hard to see that now.

Notre Dame should’ve won by 21+ yesterday, but they played and coached their way into needing a 4th down stop to win the game.

I don’t get upset when my F-150 doesn’t perform like a Ferrari. This is the problem with most fans. Expectations don’t line up with reality.

It's a dumb take Kentucky hung with Georgia with a quarterback about as limited as ours. The portal has evened things out across the board for the most part. Teams don't have the crazy depth they used to, guys aren't going to sit and wait anymore they are going to go to a different team and get snaps.
