I think we need to have an IE gentlemen’s agreement that it’s OKAY to be critical of MF without that meaning you’re rooting against the team.

You can criticize things and people you care about. The two aren’t mutually exclusive.

That said, we gutted it out. 4-1 going into the bye. Still in contention.

Go Irish. ☘️

Starting to think this is more on Denbrock than Leonard. How hard is it to throw 1x1 jump balls to Greathouse/Collins against a shitty secondary when there's 9 in the box?
I truly think Leonard got hurt again and they had to go back to that dumbass NIU gameplan.

I just don’t see how a healthy Angeli could be worse that a Leonard who can’t really run and definitely can’t throw.

However, that screen pass was perfectly executed. And it was called at the exact right time. Denbrock earned all his money in that playcall.

Win is a win, but they have to look themselves in the mirror about riley being the starter.

This model has zero chance to win it all. If you cannot stretch the field and rely on your defense every single game, you're going to lose some games.

I feel like they're waiting until he gets hurt or they are out of the playoff picture to make a change. And that sucks tbh.

The Louisville QB was dropping dimes and their WR made some great catches to keep them in the game.

The defense only gave up one scoring drive of over 24 yards. Pretty darn good for all the grief they got on here.

They are seriously banged up. Hopefully they can get a little healthier over the bye week.

Leonard gives the offense by far the highest ceiling. He had a good game.

Glad the O Line and defense are both deep with all those injuries.

Great win! Keep winning.

Can't say that I was a fan of the offensive game plan and play calling, but a win is a win. Team worked around a crap ton of injuries, and a few self inflicted wounds with the turnovers deep in ND territory. The kids made plays when they had to, and got a solid win. Bye week is at an opportune time given the body count from today.

This team is no where close to the elite programs in this country. So many little things are missed on a weekly basis and our QB can’t throw it beyond 10 yards.

We’re a Cheez-It Bowl football team, not host-a-home-playoff-game caliber. And it’s not particularly close.

I haven’t watched a full game since NIU and Saturdays have been much more fun. Way better to come back to an ND win without watching the awful. Gonna assume we are a playoff team 😂

I don’t want this. I don’t want to limp into the playoffs then get boat raced by some competent team. I don’t want a QB who isn’t a passer. I don’t want barely there wins against mid teams. I’d rather go Ivy Leave.

Louisville is going to get up two scores early, and that’s all it will take. This team cannot pass, so it cannot win a comeback once it’s down. Louisville rolls by 20. I hate this season,

They exceeded your expectations by 27 points.

I’d rather limp into the playoffs and get boat raced then not be in at all but hey different opinions. You did after all guarantee that Louisville would win by 20 🤷

This team is deeply flawed, but the part that will absolutely be insurmountable is they consistently display an inability to put together a drive during closing time.

I have zero faith this team is capable of going on a game winning drive to end a game when needed.

Can anyone give me a summary of who got injured? Sorry I’m just waking up.

They should’ve Leonard play in the second half. Seems like the coaching staff doesn’t trust him

Their WRs had a few nice catches but also some bad drops.
Pendleton was off injured. I think that means only Wagner is left of the starting 5.
Take the win.
The young LBers make some big plays. Bowen, Ausberry, KVA will be great next year.
That Faison run that led to injury showed he is our best WR with ball in hand.
