I have a hard time seeing how this game will play out.

Marcus Freeman has his teams ready to go in big matchups, but he’s also failed to have his teams ready to play at home this season. Well, something has to give this Saturday.

Was the second half of last week’s game an indicator that Leonard is starting to come around? He’ll need to make plays with his arm if they want to beat Louisville.

The defense needs to just keep doing what they’ve been doing. Don’t let Louisville establish a running game and let the secondary go make plays.

Notre Dame: 23

Louisville: 14

I hear ya pal. Got my first correct answer last week. First time ever. Didn't even crack the front page. We are probably recognized back between the crossword puzzle and obituaries/ funnies.

And I thought Bloke was our friend. Gimme some of that Irsay action....

34-16.

Leonard throws for 225+ and 2 TDs, one a screen to Jeremiyah Love for 80 yards.

Defense gives up a few chunks but tightens in the red zone and holds them to field goals.

Louisville - 27
Notre Dame - 16

louisville will sell out to stop the run and force ND to pass.

I'm not sure Louisville will stop ND, even if they do sell out against the run.

I was going nuts in the Miami OH gameday thread in the first two quarters, but I saw enough from Riley in the intermediate passing game in the second half to think that we can throw the ball in the 7-12 yard windows that will be open if Louisville stacks the box.

Not sure why, but I just feel a statement game coming. ND stomps. Pass me the Kool-Aid.

This is where I'm at. For some reason I think MF finally figures out how to get these guys ready for a home game. Wanting a little revenge doesn't hurt either.

The issue is not that Freeman can't get the guys ready for home games. He's done that countless times, and the wins against Clemson in 2022 and USC last year are proof positive of that.

The issue is getting them up for home games against far inferior opponents. That's been his struggle. I don't think this will be an issue against Louisville.

A love how these polls are always alot more optimistic then what gets posted on the boards
I had the same thought haha, I put my vote where my mouth thumbs are and am hoping/praying I'm completely wrong.

Prove it, Riley. Show me, Marcus. No more sleepy starts at home.

Run D has been lackluster. Are Mills and Cross finally ready to take over a football game?

It’s rare that you want to pick against your favorite team. And you want to believe things change.
