If anyone was going to jump them, it was going to be Ashbar (sp?) as he was getting rave reviews. Nice seeing Pendleton getting some reps, though. Glad to see the young guys getting some work. Excited about our future line.

It's 2024, not 1994. Kids are much more advanced than they were. Recently Hainsey, Fischer, and Alt all became starters as Freshmen.

I would be a bit disappointed if Knapp or another couldn't beat out a 5th year Senior career benchwarmer.

Pendleton appearing twice is interesting. Three other options there but he is the one continuing to appear. You'd think it would at least be some type of mix. If either Pendelton or Absher supplanted Coogan would be great sign. Coogan is a purported primary leader on the offense though so I'm guessing that would be unlikely.

I don’t understand people worrying about the offensive line play. We know the kind of talent notre dame there has year after year after year . Im not worried about OL play, and how anyone can act like QB or WR isn’t a bigger question mark blows my mind

Defense will need to carry the team early in the season to allow time for O Line to gel. If we can escape week one that'll buy some time

If you remember 2021 it took some time for the line to figure things out post 2020. Once they did we were pretty solid but I think it's understandable to be concerned early on

I believe that at notre dame when we don’t have NFL level talent at a position it is a question mark. Why wasn’t Leonard drafted? Note we had two early round OL picks this year

Leonard is most definitely an NFL level talent. He has all the tools to be a high draft choice. He wasn’t drafted because he didn’t declare.
