My hot take is that he was an infinitely better fit for what ND was doing on defense than what Alabama was doing on theirs. He profiled as a traditional 4-3 DE… not a jumbo 3-4 DE and certainly not an OLB. Had people in his ear telling him to chase money and it’s probably going to cost him millions in the long run.

This. Keeley is 100% a 4-3 DE. His fit in the 3-4 never made sense and it wouldn't surprise me if he ends up at a place like Miami/FSU/UCF for his final season and flies up draft boards.

Yup, his frame was always too big for OLB. He's built like Myles Garrett, not Micah Parsons.

Team is staying at the Embassy Suits, across the street from campus. Got to see a lot of the team this morning. KVA is terrifying.

Interesting. They’re going full NFL style with fall camp. I know of a house where a few of the players live, maybe they just left their cars in the driveway.

Sincere question: What is it that you think Vegas knows that a board full of highly-engaged Notre Dame fans does not?
They might see the world through less blue/gold-tinted glasses than we do. But the basic information about both teams is what it is.
I think they have a better understand of how good TAMU is.
Brice on the II pod said he heard from an NFL scout who was raving about the Aggies defense.

ND fans know ND well, but that's only half of the equation. The ND defense will be good, but do we know that Elko leading the Aggies D won't be better?

Didn’t they used to camp at some military school near Plymouth for awhile?
