Shapiro is very well liked in PA, but the republican candidate he went up against was god awful, and I say that as a republican. He’s a good speaker and generally moderate, but so many of Harris’ policy positions stand at odds to his, idk how he will reconcile that in PA.

If I was Shapiro idk if id want to be tied to her far left positions. He’d be a very good candidate in a future election otherwise.

Most governors are well liked by constituents. If you Google their approval numbers, it's pretty impressive.

I've listened to him speak a few times. I agree he's pretty good. I have no idea on his political stances. I'll have to look into that.

If I was a fairly new face in national politics, I don't think I'd want to be tied to her. She's running against a historically unliked candidate and still probably has her hands full.

If she wins this time, very good chance she loses the next time. And then her VP's political career is done.

If I were a Dem, I'd pick Walz. He's super left-wing, which they seem to like, but he's also an old white guy, which might offer some visual balance to her. Kind of like Jon Tester, they put these old libs in jeans and flannel and pretend that are just like normal people. He also knows how to speak, which would add that talent to the ticket. He would be a reasonable foe in a Veep debate and isn't Jewish, which, again, is very oppressive and fascist to the far-left.

I think the question is how many of the Pro Palestinian votes will they lose vs. how many Jewish votes they will gain?

Everyone regardless of which side of the aisle you're on should support this type of action.
You're equating people supporting Palestinian liberation with antisemitism lmao. Some of the foremost advocates for this are Jewish

I'm not super well versed on that but I did go to law school with many Jews.

Something tells me most of the Jews advocating for "liberation" are non-practicing.

Yeah, but the people chanting "globalize the intifada", tearing down posters of the children kidnapped by Hamas, or protesting outside of the Jewish children's hospital are the type of people who will 100% not support Harris because she picks a Jewish VP

Nice, and I got my CPA and like 80% of my firm is Jewish. I'd say we have different experiences.

Thank goodness those people don't represent the broad majority. Could be worse, could have leading MSM like Candace Owens pushing actual antisemitism...

Actually not sure it's going to be Shapiro now. This would be pretty damning for hiim

"The Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office reviewed the case in 2019 and ruled the death a suicide, and in 2022, the office under then-Attorney General Josh Shapiro reaffirmed that ruling after again reviewing the case between December 2021 and January 2022."

The woman was stabbed 22 times and was ruled a suicide, and Shapiro as AG reaffirmed the decision.

Shapiro also happens to be personal friends with a family member of the fiancé of the woman.

They do tend to choose battle, or they're forced to side with Hamas.

He isn't really wrong.
Yes, but that is wrong think in the DNC. He will likely have to atone for his sins. Also, if this release in the tweet below is true (also someone is getting keel hulled for this), then there's gonna be one hell of a protest in Chicago

Curious what the liberals in this thread about this blatant Ministry of Information shit that’s been going on regarding Kamala and the DNC, rewriting history on her positions and the media carrying water for it

Call me crazy but I believe women might think Trump is untrustworthy based on the Access Hollywood tape, the overturning of Roe, the civil penalties against him for sexual assault and defamation, his multiple failed marriages as well as the ham fisted and illegal attempt to pay off a porn star who he banged while his wife was pregnant.
When you put it like that ….

You should read more Israeli news sources. There is a large number of Israelis, including all of the former heads of Shin Bet who support a two state solution.

Ironically enough, the most Orthodox Jews in Israel are adamant about not serving in the military.

This is objectively correct. They even say so themselves.
To be fair that’s essentially the same position that right wing Israelis, including Netanyahu have staked out.

I do find it interesting that American Christians seem to have a knee jerk reaction to side with the State of Israel at the expense of their fellow Christians who happen to be Palestinian.
