Idk why I'm shocked that after four years, people are still sticking to their sides and dying on their hills. Pretty impressive loyalty, I guess. But with everything we know (some of which has been known for years and was suppressed), I just don't see how more people aren't capable of having open dialogue. MSM has really done a number on the intelligence in this country. It's a sad but fascinating case study.
It’s fascinating when people dig in and refuse to relent. We are all peasants fighting for crumbs while the elite throw just enough crumbs for us to fight over.

I just don't understand the digging in and refusing to relent. Many of these types of people are highly intelligent. Perhaps it's ego. Idk.

The absolute best analogy I can use to describe how people are acting is Chris Cuomo's debate versus Dave Smith where Dave accuses Chris of misreporting, Cuomo denies it and says "show me the clip," to which the clip is then shown, and Chris continues to spin. It's pure insanity. It doesn't matter the subject, this is the way of MSM and has been for years. And their respective demographics are just blind, mindless sheep that ingest whatever idiocy they're being fed that day.

People need to wake up to the nonsense.

What difference does it make if it came from a lab in China or occured naturally? Once the virus was out it was Facci’s job to advise the respective administrations on how to protect the public from it. When the administration followed his advice, generally progress was made in combatting the effects. And when they didn’t, lots of people died unnecessarily. This character assassination of this man who has done so much to protect this nation is absurd and reprehensible.
I think it's one thing if it had happened naturally, it's another if there are men responsible for creating the disease and they let it escape. China did a number washing their hands of any blame, and there are probably US representatives that may have funded the lab and should also be held accountable. We're talking about a lot of deaths and a new global disease that we will likely be dealing with in some capacity for the rest of our lives.

What does that have to do with Fauci? No matter its origin, he was responsible for providing guidance to navigate the crisis. In real time, it was irrelevant. Now , I’m all for finding out the origin of the virus but focus was diverted from finding solutions to a pressing problem to assigning blame, which, even if known, would have done nothing to solve the problem.

As to the bolded … Based on what, a hunch?

I mean, there's no probably, we were providing funding at one point to the lab and it's been pulled as of last year.

Fauci was integral in funding the gain of function activity at the Wuhan institute when Obama made it illegal to do so within the US. This is known and has been proven through documents. If you truly care and want to know the articles are out there and the documentation is out there. It just takes putting forth a little effort. And to add I am not a Democrat but I am huge progressive and have no reason to elevate what most people consider right wing talking points.

The US version of that lab is in Maryland and that lab has international collaborations with labs in many countries — China included. The question you should be asking is whether the virus was purposefully engineered as a weapon or was it an accidental lab leak. Partnering with foreign laboratories (including funding research) is not only normal but essential. So funding going to a lab in china does not raise an eyebrow from me. And it certainly doesn’t prove the sinister implications you suggest. Accidents happen. Even when the most sophisticated mitigation processes are in place. If this was intended as a weapon it was the dumbest weapon ever devised because you couldn’t protect your own population or Army from it. I assure you that there are labs in the US that were and are conducting the same types of research as was being conducted in China when and if this virus “was produced in a lab.”

Gain of function is not essential in any way. Any virologist can talk to it. It only puts us all at greater risk and almost every major facility that has done this work has had leaks.

Anyone have experience with long covid? If so, is there anything that helps? I love how the Canadian government made getting vaccinated almost mandatory, but now won't cover people that are still suffering. I lost my job because of it, and now I get the runaround telling me there are no tests. And I love that you can't sue them. Because it was an "emergency". I worked at a car dealership, and the amount of people on disability that "needed" new cars was disgusting. I can't even get that because I have previous mental health issues. They blame that. I could cope with meds before. Now I'm useless. Sorry for ranting.

I don't know if anyone else is suggesting sinister implications, that's not what I'm suggesting. I believe it was an accident, or at worst probably gross negligence. That doesn't mean those responsible or contributing to it shouldn't be held accountable. Quite frankly millions died because man decided to play God and engineer a deadly virus.

I’m not suggesting there shouldn’t be accountability either. I’m saying, as the pandemic was at its height, it was not a matter that should have diverted effort from dealing with the pandemic, and certainly it should have not been drawing Fauci’a focus away. Put out the fire first, then deal with the cause.

And then rush out a vaccine. With basically no trials. Not saying it was bad, but there is no way you can measure mid to long term implications in 8 months. And for them to wash their hands of anything going wrong and giving no support to people affected is what I have a problem with.

I've heard that intermittent fasting can sometimes help. I hope you can find relief from your symptoms.

This simply isn't true. Covid vaccines went through the same exact trials as any other vaccine. Warp speed just allowed them to be run concurrently instead of one after each other like usual to save time.

It's also worth noting that lots of places had already been working on vaccines for different strains of coronavirus before December of 2019 when the outbreak started. Hence the lab in Wuhan studying Covid. People seem to think the vaccine effort only started after the pandemic hit.

Only makes sense to create a vaccine while creating the virus. Kuddos to them.

They did not go through full trials. It’s been testified to in courts in Europe:

And did you know that there has never been a successful neutralizing coronavirus vaccine because coronaviruses mutate too quickly?

Makes you wonder why they thought this one was any different, to the point where they mandated getting the shots to prevent spread...

Fake news
The fact that the article starts out accusing people who question the Covid vaccine, which it wasn’t until they changed the definition of vaccine, of being anti-vaccines tells me the agenda of that article. Are you trying to say that they did tell all the people when the vaccine came out that it was proven to STOP the transmission of Covid? They lied that it was tested for transmission because it was proven in fact that it did not stop transmission. So are you trying to say they tested for transmission and it passed and it just happened to than fail when it went into public distribution. It wasn’t tested.

Did you even read your own article - “Stopping transmission was not a study endpoint, he told the fact checkers.”

Because it makes sense that reducing symptoms and keeping people from getting sick in the first place would stop the spread. The vaccine doesn't have to directly effect the transmissibility of the virus to help prevent from people catching it.

I don't care what the agenda is for why the article was written. I care about the facts. You can't claim the vaccine didn't go through full trials by citing it not being tested for something it never claimed to do in the first place. All covid vaccines went through the full 3 stages of clinical trials to test it for their efficacy and safety. Saying they didn't is fake news.

It was plastered all over every news media when the vaccine was released that it would stop transmission. There are videos all over of Fauci and every other major talking head stating it would stop transmission. You are rewriting history.

IT DIDNT STOP THE SPREAD. Thats why every human on Earth whether you got a “vaccine” or not will eventually get it.

I'm not rewriting history. Those are true statement. You just don't understand why they are true.

There is more than one way to stop the transmissibility of a virus. No one ever claimed the vaccines stopped a vaccinated person that contracted the virus from being able to be transmit it. You're claiming it didn't go through a full set of trials because they never tested this claim ^. But they never made this claim.

What they claimed, and what bore out in the trials, was that they reduced the half life of the virus. They reduced your chances of catching Covid. And reduced symptoms (coughing, sneezing, blowing your nose, etc). If you don't see how that translates to reducing the spread idk what to tell you.

You have a fundamental misunderstanding of what you're arguing about.

Unfortunately there were people in the media, the CDC, and infectious disease experts that made claims the vaccine prevented transmission.

And a mashup of Biden, Fauci, and a bunch of people making incorrect claims about the jab's capabilities
