6'3 195lbs, League Champ in 100m and 200m running 10.8 and 21.9 already in his 2nd year of Track. He's plenty fast and he was a stud on defense in limited reps 5 INTS in 5 games on D. He's definitely a better prospect than any of the commits and has a higher ceiling even though I like Terry's floor as a WR/Return Man. He's much much better than Joe Wilkims who I liken to the other commits with the exception of Shaun Terry. Wilkins was rated around #75 at WR and he caught for about 600yds as a SR.
I've been "burned" too many times with high hopes just due to track times. I prefer to see it on film then verify with track they are as fast as they look. I don't see it on his film.

While I share this sentiment about the '24 class, it's important to keep stacking great classes. One injury, one transfer, and one not panning out, there could be a sudden hole. You never want to have a talent gap, especially in ND's case where it's highly unlikely they would be able to add a talented undergraduate in the transfer portal.

There is some talent out there for ND. They just need to close.
Yes. Yes. This. Always this. Always.

Just keep bringing them in over and over again no matter what. Foster the competition within the ranks by adding depth. What will be will be when it comes to some falling off.

You could say the same for Hines and Taylor, especially Hines. I like Hines' film, but his track speed doesn't translate fully to football. Maybe that's an S&C issue.

Taylor is interesting. Burst on the scene as a sophisticated, but didn't build on it as a jr. But his father, Tavian Banks, was a baller at iowa when I was a kid.

Robinson looks like a bigger/faster version of Micah Gilbert. Enjoyed this excerpt of him talking with ISD about his speed and his one and only 40... @ 6-3, 195.
Notre Dame had shown serious interest in Dylan Robinson‍ for months with receivers coach Mike Brown traveling to California to see the 2025 wideout work out in person.

Brown and the rest of the Irish coaching staff reviewed the film and by the time Robinson clocked a sub-4.5 40-yard dash at an Under Armour Camp shortly after, the Irish had seen enough and extended a scholarship offer.

“It means a lot,” the 6-foot-3, 190-pounder says. “They're really genuine out there for sure. I guess that's the main thing that I would say I'm looking for in a college, just genuine good people.

“It's a huge school, coming from a big school and coming from those type of genuine people, it meant a lot.”

The Bonita High School standout has over a dozen other major offers from schools like UCLA, Washington, Utah, Cal, Penn State, Michigan State, Nebraska and TCU among several others

Still, in addition to the prestige of Notre Dame, the offer from the Irish was a big deal to Robinson because of who it came from.

“Coach Brown is a great dude,” he says. “That's my guy.

“Obviously Coach (Marcus) Freeman, he's been texting me. We've been talking a lot, kind of just building that relationship. (Chad) Bowden, we've also been talking a lot; really just the whole offensive staff I'm talking with and building relationships with.”

That 4.4 40 was a big deal to a lot of people, but not so much to Robinson.

“I don't run 40s at all,” he says. “That was my first 40 that I've ever run. I feel like I could have done better. They only let me run one because I did pretty good, so that was my first 40. I think I could always do better.”

Brown certainly believes he can put Robinson’s speed and size to good use.

“One of the first conversations that we had, he was saying that he was looking for length, he's looking for speed and good ball tracking,” Robinson explains. “He said that that's all the things he believes that I have. That's their main pitch to me; they're going to get me out there and give me the ability to use my athleticism and ball tracking and speed to go make plays.”

Very torn on this one myself. 6 TD on 22 catches is great production. As a HS OC, I'm probably thinking of getting him the ball more.

Then you see his defensive highlights and stats. He's got the makings of a very good safety as well.

Probably another dude you just get in and try to sort out. Not a bad thing.

Ryan Roberts believes ND leads. ND sold him as a big play threat that can make plays lined up all over the field.

He has a final OV to UCLA next weekend. And is expected to be a ND-UCLA battle.

I think it’s going to be very difficult for ucla to go better than .500 going forward. That doesn’t seem to bother some guys - just ask Rico

Rico wanted to be closer to home. He was dealing with homesickness, and Stuckey getting canned, was the final nail in the coffin for him.

But I agree. UCLA may be lucky to have a .500 team in the new Big-Ten for the next few years.

I get it’s closer but Folsom is a 6.5 hour drive from LA.

It sucks that USC took their one legit coach.
That dude will actually get USC’s defense to respectable if Riley gets the eff out of the way.

According to his NFL combine official results, he was 72.63 inches tall.

In person he looks like maybe 6 foot in shoes... not that I'd have any reason to have seen him barefoot. I think his discs are compressing.

Post-visit article from Ryan Roberts

“(Notre Dame is) high up there,” he said. “When I was there, they made it clear what Notre Dame is and the culture and traditions that come with it which I think is amazing. They are a real option as I zero in on where I’m going.”

Last week Jamie from ISD did an article talking about athletic testing for WRs and included some pretty incredible numbers from Robinson

2025 target Dylan Robinson‍ is a legit 6-3 and the 4.49 40 that he ran this spring should not be ignored, especially because he hits the threshold with his short shuttle (4.31) and vertical (30.1).

And then head to The League.

D'Anton Lynn was Ravens safeties coach for two years before going to UCLA to be DC. He's been working his way up the ladder and it would seem that it's only a matter of time before he's back in the NFL. Especially if he can put together a strong defense under a guy like Riley in college.
