I went to "I Think You Should Leave" Live on Tuesday and there was a bunch of ITYSL unaired skits that were pretty funny. Of note, Tim Robinson brought out Seth Meyers and then Paul Rudd because Paul Rudd is apparently a big ITYSL head. Was a definite cash grab, but always some good laughs.

Been watching Fallout on Amazon Prime. Between this and Halo, it seems that the studios are learning how to make proper video game adaptations.

Anyone use the Dofu Sports app? I’ve been able to stream MLB regardless of market. There’s no charge…just to have to put up w/ their ads when app first opens.

I mean,I know it's an original story, but if you're going to create a show in a games universe, I would hope you drop a lot of fan service lol

Ah but the minute details are unreal all the way down to even the water filter and the tomato crops used in base building in fallout 4. It’s almost like every prop or asset in the show is lifted from the games.

The worst season of this show is probably better than the best season of most. You're going to have to finish them all and then go back to appreciate them all. I Don't know of anyone that has ever given up on it and you'd be foolish to.

1 and 2 are great. 3 and 4 are consistent and grounded. They're probably somewhere in the middle if you're into ranking them. Season 3 had a lot of subplots and there was a lot of darkness. You get Pine Barrens, possibly the best episode of them all.

Most people I know like Season 2 the best because of Richie and Big Pussy's storylines. It doesn't peak, I assure you.
What show are you talking about here?

That last episode of Bluey got me all up in my feels

I haven't seen it yet, so I don't know what happened. I will say that I catch my self watching Bluey alone, long after my kids have moved on to other activities. I friggin love that show.

I've been watching the Netflix series "Turning Point: The Bomb and the Cold War". Covers the end of WWII through today. It's not fast paced, but it has a lot of commentary from those that lived it from all sides. A lot of insight and how close we came to launching an attack on bad information. When told Russia had launched 200 missiles, the general was asked to confirm. He came back and said it's not 200, it's 2,000.

Durst only killed women. Any man could crush his skull with a DDT. Not impressed

Funny enough I just started The Sopranos because clips from the show kept popping up on my YouTube algorithm. I found season 1 starting way too slowly and decided to go back to it afterwards since I know the broader plot points (like what people do with TNG). Season 2 is great great stuff. Devoured it in about 3 nights.

Watched Fallout. Goggins was his usual, but overall thought this was average at best. Go ahead and hate me.

I watched every episode back in the day on HBO week to week as they aired, so seeing them for the first time I was not binging them because binging really wasn't a thing. Hell, DVDs were just in their infancy.

I guess I can see how binging could make Sopranos feel slow and even though it holds up now you're probably not thinking it is as groundbreaking compared to watching it in the late 90s and early 2000.

I'm always curious to hear the perspectives of anyone who is just getting around to watching it for the first time.

To clarify it was just the first season. I mean the pilot feels different than a lot of the rest of the show and some of the stuff makes it seem like they weren't 100% certain how they wanted the characters to go (the early interactions between Chris and Meadow). But by season 2 things have hit their stride and they are firing on all cylinders.

The Pilot was filmed in August of 1997. It was a while before they started filming the next episodes.

i loved it up until the finale for some reason
Just seemed to bounce around too much for me. The other part was here they are pretty much on wasteland and miles away with no water, yet they seemed to arrive at different variables no worse for the wear. They never really dealt much with those difficulties. I did enjoy the conversation when Lucy asked Maximus if he wanted to have sex. lol
