I doubt if there's much money for a guy like Lewis, but someplace like Syracuse or Rutgers could offer way more playing time.

Hate to see guys go, always do. But at the end of the day, this is for a good reason for him and the team. Plus, like others have mentioned, he’s got his degree too.

Thought this one might happen. He should see some decent playing time at another power five school, good look to him
I don’t see him coming close to starting or even going to one of the big 4 conferences

Best of luck to him! Seemed to be a great team player

Your ability to throw shade at or provide negative commentary on ND players is unmatched. Congrats. How about you skip the fist comment and just wish him well like, you know fans of the team and University. And spare me the “it’s a football discussion board” bullshit.

Good luck to Clarence. He got his degree, so he did what you should want every ND player to do before they leave.

There will always be room for any recruit you don’t think ND will have room to take.

Best of luck to him. Got the paper. Now can go get more paper, get 100% snaps and make a run at Sunday money

...or both if he chooses correctly and busts azz.

I'm gonna go back and read my posts on him. I remember really liking him as a prospect and thought we might have another JLove type player on our hands during his FR year. Didn't turn out that way but sounds like he was a positive piece to the room during his time. Gotta have lots of guys like that if you wanna make a run.

Where did I say I see him as a starter? I just was saying he could get more playing time at another school. He was down far on the depth charts at ND so I don't blame him for looking to get some more PT at another school. There was no need here to be an ass and shit on one of former guys.

So pretend like he wasn’t an awful player here since he’s leaving?

You said descent time at a power 5, I just started my opinion in response to that.

I’m not going to pretend like he didn’t give up a zillion receptions and tds and cost us games while playing here. You know, literally the opposite of a player like BenMo.

I really hope this is just some internet alter ego you have because if you’re like this really, I feel for everyone associated with you.
You mean like in the real world when a significantly under achieving employee leaves the company and you wish them good luck but the company is actually happy about it?

Yeah never happens

You don't think need could get PT at a Maryland or Purdue?

I realize what he was on the team, All I was doing was wishing him luck since he is moving on, there was no need to take a shit on him. Just say good luck and move on.
Maybe he could, don’t think start so whatever time a backup could get

I assume he’ll go to a lower level d1 to try and start

“Johnny’s a nice guy but he fucking sucks at TPS reports. He’ll never get another job, probably be living under a bridge in six months. Someone has to say it…” - how I envision Putup at work.

Are you talking low level DI as in G5 like Kent State or FCS like Stony Brook?

You can feel however you want about Lewis at ND but if you don't think there are numerous P4 programs that he'd start at, you're not being real.

Like a Mac school

We’ll see, if he goes to P4 and is regular starter I’ll have no problem saying I was wrong (if he plays ok)

Best of luck Clarence. Always pulling for him!

This one was also expected, we are just loaded with young talented corners.

I wouldn’t say loaded. Ben Mo is as good as it gets obviously and gray shows huge talent…. IMO Mickey hasn’t developed like I’d hoped and we don’t know what bell has yet. Our numbers at corner aren’t great right now. One of the frosh coming in is hopefully ready to step into two deep if there’s an injury because it’s not Tucker.

I assume Lewis left because it’s obvious Clark will be nickel. So I didn’t include him with the corners (he’s not young either)

Hey @Beau, by any chance did KoonLBerry volunteer to have his burners banned too? If so, you missed one.

Did I say something wrong? Should I just agree we’re loaded at corner right now when we really only have 3 capable ones for spring practice ?
Just let the comment pass. No need to challenge that comment in this thread.

Or, click that +Quote button and take his quote to the general team/spring practice/mickens thread maybe?

It’s not that you’ve said something wrong, it’s that you have never said something right. Despite being a volume shooter you’ve had trouble hitting the basket.
So right to you is courteous and politically correct vs accurate with examples to back up statements or opinions?
