For any here that have been to an EPL match at a club that requires membership, does one membership suffice to purchase multiple tickets? Or if taking a family of 4, would all members need a membership? Looking at a family trip and possibly games at Man City and Tottenham.

Wayne Rooney reckoned the Super Bowl was boring - said “you call that football?”.
Coming from a soccer player that is really something.
I always thought big dudes playing soccer (such as Rooney) are total pussies.

I find that the people who say soccer is boring have the same problem as people who say football is boring. You have to know the game in order to watch the game. It’s boring because you don’t know the game.

Just a quick story, that may possibly help.

My now wife and I went to Manchester City home vs Leicester City back in 2019. (Game Kompany scored his legendary goal)

A few things:
We bought our two tickets off one of the big tickets sites. I want to say Ticketmaster.
Now this was 2019, but the issue we ran into was they would only ship the physical tickets to a UK based address...we had to ask a couple we knew living in London if they would be okay receiving the tickets and then meet up with us. Thankfully that worked out fine for us, because we were staying at an Air B&B in London then took the train to Manchester, so having them shipped to the Air B&B could have been dicey.
It's possible this isn't an issue anymore and everything is digital.
I'm honestly not sure.

Also, please don't make the mistake I did, and book air travel before the date of the game is official.
The TV holders can change the dates of the game with only about a months notice.
For example, the City vs Leicester game got moved to Monday night, and I had to scramble to move our flights arounds and paid a pretty penny to do so.

I wish I could help out more on the membership rules, but I can say that we didn't need any membership to walk into the stadium in Manchester back in 2019. We just showed our two tickets, and went right to our seats.

Best of luck, and have a blast.
I can't wait to get back for a game in Manchester.

I concur with everything he said. I have gotten duped with fraudulent tickets so be weary. Also, scalping at White Hart Lane was nigh impossible for anything but away supporter section. Have fun.

Thank you for the insight. We did go to an Atletico game in Madrid last October and it was very straight forward, but I did see a lot of caution regarding fraudulent tickets.

Hi kzoondfi,

We had the chance to go to England in April 2023 as my twin boys trained at Manchester City and played local friendlies as part of a US team. We had included for us tickets for Man City vs Leicester. The same week we were in Manchester held a rare and special opportunity: the chance to see 2 UEFA League games in Manchester. Tuesday was Champions League Man City vs Bayern Munich and Thursday was Man U vs Sevilla. Of course we had to go and I looked for tickets on the clubs website, but they were all sold out. Someone referred me to livefootballtickets which is a legitimate site: ⚽ Football Tickets | Buy cheap football tickets online

It is sort of like the European version of StubHub. It didnt ask for membership but I did see that some tickets held special conditions. Most could be bought and sent digitally, but some had to be printed and some were also will call. We had 2 different sellers (who were both based in Manchester) and explained our situation. They were very friendly and helpful and we received our tickets digitally. We had no problem at either game; we just showed the QR code and me and the boys got in. Man City is great but I disagree with you on Tottenham lol

Hope you guys have a blast as it was a wonderful experience for our family starting in London then Manchester.

PS of course I have to brag and show my boys off lol

He was a trained youth boxer, so assessment a bit off...

Most goals in 2024 thus far.

Sporting CP boss Ruben Amorim is going to be on the move one way or another. When and where is the question.

Anyone have experience going to Serie A matches, particularly Roma? I will be in Rome whey they have a match against Bologna. I considered Lazio vs Salernitana, but I don't know if I wanna see those maniacs live in action as a tourist. I am not too concerned about acquiring tickets, but anything to know as a neutral spectator?

Bayern and Tuchel are going to part ways after this season. The Xabi Alonso stakes deepen.

I hope Graham Potter re-emerges somewhere this summer. He committed career suicide with Chelsea. He's not the first and will not be the last.

Ruben Amorim is going to coach his way out of Sporting CP into a bigger club. Where and when are the only questions. What a job they've done. With very little money.

They're kinda late on this.
Their current rules on entrance into European tournaments could see Premiership teams take a back seat to owned clubs in other leagues. Like if Nice qualifies for European tournament, ManU could get left out depending out on how they both finish in their respective leagues. I think ManCity has that potential as well. Missing out on that money would be hard for the EPL clubs.

Hibernian is a bigger club than Bournemouth. Been around longer, average more attendance at home matches. LOL.

This is the new "it" now. You're going to continue to see certain clubs stretch the boundaries and try to stay ahead of the new FFP/FSR rules that are coming.

Three European competitions and all 7 Serie A clubs are still alive. Roma going through on pens yesterday was a whopper.

Lame that Atalanta and Sporting Lisbon face each other in the last 16 after just being in the same group.
Should be some nice ties.

Interested to see how serious Liverpool and Leverkusen take it with thier domestic titles being far more important to thier fans.

Gary Neville calling Chelsea "Billion dollar bottle jobbers" might be the best piece of punditry in 2024 anywhere in sports.

Maybe if they spend a billion more they can win a cup final against middle schoolers.

Pochettino made sure to cry about the refs earlier in the week before the match was even played. Then afterwards he admits they were playing for penalty kicks against an injury riddled team that had teen academy players on the pitch at the end. For the final kicker, Poch walked right past Boehly without acknowledging him when they accepted second place. He's done. I'm amazed people continue to take this job knowing what it will do to a manager's career.

Money can buy a lot of things, but there are a lot of things it can't buy.
