Ships attacked. US military targeted. We do nothing.

Now this-

Nobody fears limp dick Biden.

I just saw this was posted recently by WaPo on the Ukraine situation. There were a lot of people that said from the beginning this was going to be a losing battle unless Western forces got actively involved. It's looking like liberals are coming to face with a grim reality.

Together, all these factors make victory for Ukraine far less likely than years of war and destruction.
The campaign’s inconclusive and discouraging early months pose sobering questions for Kyiv’s Western backers about the future, as Zelensky — supported by an overwhelming majority of Ukrainians — vows to fight until Ukraine restores the borders established in its 1991 independence from the Soviet Union.
“That’s going to take years and a lot of blood,” a British security official said, if it’s even possible. “Is Ukraine up for that? What are the manpower implications? The economic implications? Implications for Western support?”
The year now stands to end with Russian President Vladimir Putin more certain than ever that he can wait out a fickle West and fully absorb the Ukrainian territory already seized by his troops.

I thought this segment by Bill Maher was pretty interesting. The world has always been very messy.

The Saudis spent years with high tech weapons trying to eradicate the Houthis and failed. Also sounds like the UAE and SA have different ideas about how to handle this.

We need to get our Arab allies on board before we commit to anything big there. Interventions in places like Yemen have a way of sprawling into something bigger than you want to be a part of.

Yeah, fuck those guys for not just sitting back and taking rocket fire and watching their citizens get slaughtered. They should adopt open borders like Biden did and welcome those Hamas people to have peaceful protests in Tel Aviv. A Free Palestine is environmental and social justice for ALL peoples. From the River to the sea!

Just say that 1) Palestinians = Hamas 2) You believe in collective punishment.

Makes it so much clearer for everyone.

Palestinians overwhelmingly support Hamas, share an ideology, and are represented by Hamas. I don't say that they are equal, but the idea that they are innocent bystanders is misleading at the least. Hamas has entrenched itself in a way that is designed to maximize casualties by launching attacks from schools and hospitals. It's not Israel's responsibility to accept rocket fire from Hamas because they have sensitive locations around the targets. The people of Gaza support Hamas and are sadly going to be impacted, much like the people of Tokyo and Berlin in the 1940s.

It is Israel's responsibility to not deliberately target the civilians in Gaza and to within reason minimize casualties. That said, as long as Hamas is waging war on Israel, which appears to be something they will do as long as Hamas exists, it is the right of Israel to eliminate that threat. Civilians will be impacted. Calling for a ceasefire is ridiculous.

Just say what Israel should do here.

Golly gee, when the options are 1) Religious fundamentalist nutjobs who have given the "appearance" of caring about you or 2) The religious state who routinely subjects you and your family to apartheid conditions. I wonder which one you're going to pick. A real surprise.

Since I know Muslim/Brown = Bad. Let's try this out, Waco a group of religious nutjobs got rinsed. Was this a success?

Funny you bring up Tokyo and Berlin, what does the 4th Geneva Convention cover?

I've already stated what Israel should do numerous times. It's like what happens with Rottweilers and shitty owners, do you euthanize the entire species or when there is a dog that bites someone you put that dog down and restrict the owner from having another one?

I’d take anything like that posted on Social Media by either side with a huge grain of salt. Pics like that need to be independently verified to confirm whether or not they’ve been manipulated.
Truth. It goes beyond just Photoshop these days, the rise of AI images has made it easy for even amateurs to create phony "evidence." It's really sad. The sheep gobble it up and don't question it. I've seen a number of AI pics of Trump and Epstein with young girls circulating again in the last week.

Trump's eyebrows go Super Saiyan with AI. This got Community Notes involved.

Fascinating weekend on the Foreign Policy front-

First- this gem from the Rep. from Somalia.

Then, our weakness in leadership continues to get more Americans killed.

Something to think about here as the grownups are in charge and we're under invasion at home and getting attacked abroad.

The last time he threatened retaliation for dead service members:

I like the mental image of Biden sitting behind a computer monitor personally flying the drone lol.
