Yes I'm not entirely ignorant of what's going on. It's just not a good look having the reports coming out about a kid not in the portal.

Yeah his own agent probably leaked that though to put public pressure on UNLV and no one knows if it’s true. In fact you probably only do that if you’re trying to 1) publicly shame boosters into paying more money 2) want others to enter the race.

$250k isn’t even that much.

He just publicly declared he was coming back for the '24 season on 12/24, but a lot has changed since then and can change yet again... Jayden Maiava, QB for the go-go offense is heading to USC and their HC has already done a round of interviews for HC openings and I wouldn't be surprised to see his name pop up for the WA HC job. Dang! He certainly had a prolific year! He caught 81 passes for 1,386 yards and seven touchdowns. He has gone over 100 yards in seven games, including five of the last six contests Maybe, he's thinking the go-go O done gone from UNLV?

The head coach of Wake Forest spent basically an entire year talking about how we tampered with his starting QB when he was still at Wake Forest and got him to transfer to our program. Exact dollar figures does make me question how much truth is behind the report, would seem like a bad negotiating tactic for UNLV's collectives going forward if nothing else.

I'm going to defend Mr. Chen here because in the article never mentioned the Ivy League. All I know is my friend who was a writer/reporter wrote the articles not the headlines. I have no idea how its done in the digital only era but the fact he mentioned the patriot league and that makes me think someone else wrote the headline.
