My way too early guesses:

Dabo - 25%
Tommy - 0%
MF - 0%
Prime - 0%
DeMeco Ryans - 30%
Kalen DeBoer - 50 %
Lane Kiffin - 25%
BK - 5%
Sark - 35%
Vrabel - 15%
Dan Quinn - 15%
Mike Norvell - 10%

It'll be interesting to see what the ramifications of this hire will bring.

I'd add Lincoln Riley to the list of long shots. He recruited well at Oklahoma and I just dont think he fits in well in LA.

I really really like Freeman, but after this Bama run and the position of the program....No way they'd need to settle for him. It sounds rough even to type it out, but it's the truth.
I do not disagree with you brother. Honestly, I don't think Bama goes for MFMF either. But the tact remains, when the 'media' starts throwing names.... idiots listen....

Mike Norvell is the best candidate if you ask me:

1) Proven program builder

2) Knows the southeast and recruits well down there

3) Probably in line for a pay bump after what he just did with FSU in 2023

4) Buyout is doable

5) Not too young, not too old. Just enough experience being a head coach

6) FSU is begging to get out of the ACC for the SEC anyway

Byrne has told the program and others within the athletics department that he intends to name Saban's replacement by the end of this week.

Among those emerging as serious contenders along the lines of earning interviews: Washington coach Kalen DeBoer, Florida State coach Mike Norvell and incumbent Tide offensive coordinator Tommy Rees.

Two other names with some measure of traction in the search: former Broyles Award-winning Alabama assistant coach Mike Locksley and current Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz, per sources in upper levels of college athletics administration.

Unless its a DEI hire. Those aren't based on merit, but the color of your skin (or sex, or "gender", or LGBTQXYZ label). Just like Martin Luther King Jr dreamed about.

Yeah, that's the one thing with DeBoer, does he want to plug into The South/SEC from a cultural standpoint - Don't know if he cares much about that or not?

Ok. If Rees gets the job I’m going to be 100% convinced that he was sent by the Pope on a secret mission to destroy Bama.

If you ask me who's most likely to take the job (if offered) of the top tier candidates..... it's Norvell for this very reason.

He may never get offered though.
