I love the guys like this. He's far from a finished product but you teach him and get him into a good strength program to make him a Frankenstein.

He's a HS junior and he's 6 foot 8. To have 277 lbs. on already is a minor miracle.

Idk how many offensive linemen ND plans on taking, but a headlining group of Black, Strebig, and Lange would be as elite of any group ND has had.

Every class there is at least one OL guy with injury issues. You have to still have enough bets to have 5 guys developed each year

all i know is that they were saying on a podcast in early fall that our irish coaching staff were telling Owen Strebig that he was the top target at all OL positions.

Composite 284.44, 26 man class. I feel pretty confident about most of the uncommitted outside of WR and LB. I'd personally go 4 receivers given how they transfer in this era but I doubt they will. I'd add another RB like James Simon regardless what it means for the other two.

It’s really tough to be patient/clear minded right now with what happened yesterday. But if Freeman manages to sign a class close to the one above, we would be able to go toe to toe with just about anyone.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the class push close to 30. IMO they need to add more than 3 WR especially if they take Bettis Jr. I really like the S class but there are studs out there that I wouldn't pass on regardless of the guys they have because they are that good.

What a weird thing to say about Notre Dame's recruiting under Freeman.

Don’t look now but coach Marcus Freeman has the Fighting Irish off to a hot start for the 2025 recruiting class. Notre Dame is not normally known as a program that starts really fast in recruiting so this has my attention as we turn the page to focusing more on the cycle.
