i honestly wouldn't be upset with thisCharlie Weis jr?
Don't think it'll come to fruition, but weirder things have happened.Another first year OC? Cool
I like what you did there...lolDenbrock would be a great F U to BK and could be sold to recruits:”Denbrock left LSU for ND”
Hartline is interesting because you know his recruiting will be incredible, but how long would he even be around?Don't think it'll come to fruition, but weirder things have happened.
these days, a good oc is prolly gonna be around a couple or so years unless you get a guy who's older. moorhead would be a good choice for stability.Hartline is interesting because you know his recruiting will be incredible, but how long would he even be around?
I like the list mentioned above, minus Buster. With that said, the relationship between Freeman and BH will make him 100% a candidate and I'm sure MF will make him say NO. Young OC or not, his recruiting chops would balance the scales.i think it's Hartline. makes too much sense.
I heard Bud Kilmer was also available. Not a very outside the box thinker though—prefers his quarterbacks to stick to the basics.Top of the list has to be Lance Harbor...
I’d prefer Denbrock over Hartline. This is not the time to have another first year OC/play caller.
Yes, I would.I mean, Denbrock just developed Jayden Daniels into a Heisman winner and had the #1 overall offense in college football last year, in terms of total yards.
We would be upset with that?
He'd definitely allow wangers on the glass at the Alano clubI heard Bud Kilmer was also available. Not a very outside the box thinker though—prefers his quarterbacks to stick to the basics.
As I said in the other thread, he wouldn't be my number #1, maybe partly because I haven't given much thought to who would be. But, I'd be very excited about him developing next years offense.I would be thrilled with Denbrock. Familiarity with ND, good offensive resume, recent experience with SEC and his QB just won the Heisman.
He's a very high floor with a very high ceiling. If Golden is sticking around I'm more interested in the high floor.
Denbrock has a long track record of developing talent going back to his first stint with ND. Not saying he’s the best OC in the country but you could certainly do worse.Yes, I would.
Parker had great stats too.

People also tend to forget that he was very good with WR development during his time at ND. He's just an all around very good coach.
Yes, I would.
Parker had great stats too (top 10 yards per play)
?? We could have done worse than Parker, too. That is weak.Denbrock has a long track record of developing talent going back to his first stint with ND. Not saying he’s the best OC in the country but you could certainly do worse.
