Also.

Tommy Rees’ play calling is buttfucking 2 Time Defending, #1, National Champ, Georgia.

That has to hurt some of your narratives.
It's almost like he's good at his job? And Saban knew what he was doing? Crazy.

I think his football mind is off the charts, he just struggled at times to fit it to his personal. I don't like his recruiting pre - Kenny, CJ
That’s wayyyyy too much actual football intelligence for me to handle right now.
But I appreciate the response. And you are probably right.

When did Irish Envy become NDNation 2.0? A lot of fucking crybabies around here. Every time I go to a thread I feel like I’m watching Groundhog Day going through the same shit over and over and over.
No one's crying. We're just not dumb and want ND to be great

Crybabies? Perhaps. Perhaps you are okay with being Top 20 Program and not Top 10.

The signs are there. We hired an inexperienced coach to be HC and we are taking our lumps and it sucks. Kelly said he liked Freeman but said he would have his challenges w his lack of experience…..
Who said dad4aa or a lot of us don’t want to win a natty? Who said we were okay with just being a top 20 team? That’s BS.

His point is you guys keep repeating the same thing over and over. We can read and comprehend. You don’t need to tell us in every post how you feel or what you think is wrong, because believe it or not most probably agree. Just don’t need to here it over and over.

Didn’t this play out to start the year for Bama? And I have no doubt Saban has had a big influence on his adjustment and development as the year went on.

Bill Simmons and Ryen Russillo both had 1-2 lines about how bad Garrett was on the NFL game he did. They were like, "wtf is he talking about"

First time in my life I've considered watching the game on mute. Garrett needs a lot work, or a new career

Well said! Too much negativity on this board.

I still feel the toughest job in college football is Notre Dame and the QB position that has the most eyes on it is the Notre Dame QB position.

College football as a whole is going through a new era, one that I don't agree with and Notre Dame is sticking to its standards (good for them).

Go Irish!!

Notre Dame has certain self-imposed challenges, but toughest job? No way. Despite its hurdles, there is some resemblance of a commitment to winning.

You left out location. Good luck recruiting qualified athletes who want to live in Nowhere, Indiana in shitty weather and an inferior female population vs a southern or west coast school.

Yeah, all true and very valid points, but ignoring the non Power-5 teams, is it a tougher job than say...Purdue? Northwestern? Stanford? Vanderbilt? Virginia? Boston College? Nebraska? Illinois? Kansas? Duke?

Other than Nebraska, Notre Dame has a much stronger commitment to its football program and winning than the above. Also, I'd argue that Notre Dame easily has the most allure to recruits and prospects than the above. Some of those are elite academic schools as well (Stanford, Duke, Vanderbilt, UVA, Northwestern, BC...) meaning, Joe 5 Star isn't automatically waltzing in and clearing admissions.

I get it that ND has its challenges (location, weather, female population, South Bend, in-state talent, or lack thereof, academic hurdles, Catholic-centric institution, etc.), but it has as a lot of unique advantages that 9/10 of college football programs don't have and can't provide. Kids want to play there...no one is swatting Alabama, Georgia, Texas, USC, Florida, etc. caps off the table to pick up an Illinois, Purdue, or Vanderbilt cap.
