Sorry for the delay as I had quite a busy couple of weeks. Updated standings (inclusive of USC and Pitt) are posted below.

S/O to @notredomer23 for stepping up to pick up my slack last week! Also, another S/O to my wife, who allowed us to watch the Pitt game from the hotel room on the last day of our honeymoon, in the Carribean, no less! She's a keeper lol

Some movement in the standings: @General Colon Bowel snapped his five-game losing streak and picked up his 4th win with his Pitt prediction, for a solo-lead atop the standings.

@INLaw and @johnsben both nailed the ND blowout predictions the past two weeks, which shot them up the standings for a 5-way tie in second at three points. @TommyIrish also picked up a Pitt win to get to three, joining @Huntr and @SeekNDestroy .

Go Irish! Beat Tigers!

I've had a tough time predicting this one.

I really think this is going to be a low scoring slug-fest. ND comes in at 11th in total D, Clemson at 6. Both offenses have struggled at times this season, Clemson particularly in the turnover department.

ND isn't going to be able to pound the rock against the stout Clemson front without having some threat of a passing attack, and his safety blanket in Mitchell Evans is out for the season, which gives me pause.

There's desperation in the air for the Clemson faithful and beating a top 15 opponent at home would be just the jolt the program needs to finish the season on a somewhat strong note, so I'm expecting a fired up crowd and Clemson team, even with the noon kick.

I think, in the end, ND finds a way to win an ugly one that keeps us all on edge. ND 23, Clemson 13

2015 will always be known as “Bring Your Own Guts”.

This will be known as the “Tyler from Spartanburg“ Game and that’s not a good thing for ND.

I’m seeing this as similar to the Duke game as both offenses struggle and it goes deep into the 4th quarter.

I thought 2015 was "Burn the Boats"?

All I remember is that on field interview after the game and Dabo going on & on about guts. Then he gave all the players from that team a paper weight w/ that phrase so I maybe I’m the only one that thinks of it as “BYOG game”.

Ahhh - I was thinking from the ND side.

It was being told to the Notre Dame football team as an example of committing your whole self to a goal. The story was based around the action that the Vikings used for ultimate commitment to their goal. After they landed their boat on some distant shore, and as they departed to slaughter the unlucky inhabitants of that land. The leader would have the crew burn their boat on the shore. The burning of the boat crystallized the moment and forced the Vikings to have only two options, Win or Die. At this point the level of commitment was very clear because the only possible way home was to win.

I keep coming back to 31-14 ND. Clemson's only bright spot in the game last year was Will Shipley. I am assuming he is out.

No Antonio Williams, no Walker Parks. I struggle to see Clemson having the offense to put up any amount of points without multiple game-changing defensive plays from them. The wrench of course is that their backs are up against the wall, but Death Valley will be a neutered version of itself taking out some of the bite.

ND plays a clean game and Angeli is taking snaps in the fourth.

It's on ND to not try and play a super conservative game plan like we had vs say duke.
After losing their best pass catcher for the season, I wonder if they go back to forcing the issue w/ the run despite Clemson loading the box & bringing their LB off the edge w/ 100% confidence that ND isn’t running PA.

Clemson is having troubles walking and chewing gum. Now they’re going to beat a playoff worthy football team?

24-17 ND.

To offset the “Tyler from Spartanburg” Dabo motivational tour, I hope Sam speaks to his brothers about his 0-4 record as QB vs Clemson despite balling out. ”Win One for Hartman”

Gonna be a tough one! Dabo will have them all hyped up to take on the Irish, but I think that ND finds a way to win a close one that keeps us all on edge and praying for a win .... ND 24, Clemson 20 (X picks one off inside of a minute to seal the deal)!
