I don't think I've ever had a problem with broadcasters. Yeah Garret's a little dry but I don't see issue with Jac. I guess I just don't pay attention to them much.

I just wish that the NBC broadcast would allow the crowd noise in and ask their announcers to have to talk over it or something similar. I feel like ESPN and FOX have the right balance of it. When we play elsewhere the fans sound so loud and contrasted with home games we sound pathetic. But then I’ll see clips where you hear the crowd and I realize we are just as loud, but they definitely cancel that noise out on tv for some reason.

Im not saying he's not bad Im just surprised how many notice and how strong they feel. I guess my internal dialouge and cursing drowns out whoever's broadcasting more than others.

That's how home games end with me. But they usually start with me throwing a few expletives NBC's way for simply not giving a shit about their ND broadcast product.

You want a good example of how Jac sucks, listen to his commentary on Price's KO return for td.

He doesn't describe the action and doesn't sound excited as the exciting action is happening

"2 possession, game and here we go. This is Price bringing it out on a return..of his own! Now Jadarian Price, turnin on the jets, 20, 10, touchdown Notre Dame!"

What the fuck is that? He didn't say anything of substance until the run was almost over and there was no urgency at all while it was happening until Price crossed the goal line. He's terrible.




Contrast that with Tirico calling Kyren's huge ass rushing td vs UNC a couple years ago.

Night and day.

Or how about Gus Johnson calling Tyree's kickoff return against Wisconsin?

When we played Toledo in 2021 and I couldn't watch it on tv, I found an inside the booth youtube video of the radio crew. Ryan Harris was a riot.

I still don’t care for that Tyree call. There’s just nothing going on by Gus besides supposed enthusiasm which to me sounds fake. I love Tyree and what he’s done for the program but he wasn’t showcasing Rocket explosiveness here.

Wow, that kind of blows my mind. I DIG his calls. I get it, no one is going to make everyone happy, like our local NFL guy, Paul Allen. If I could push him in front of a train, I would, that's how much of a Dbag I think he is. Yet most love his calls/excitement.
