To be fair - GAAP is incredibly open ended so someone may answer like this in a way to not get himself tangled up in some line of questioning from the lawyers. But, man he couldn't just give some surface level answer about like payroll or rent expense? Bizarre.

Imagine Biden had someone come out and say this about the time when the Big Guy was a former vice president, but not yet presidential candidate?

This guy is saying Trump told him how many warheads are on the subs and how close they can get to Russia. An employee witnessed the guy talking about to others the same night and the guy told everyone he knew that would think he was cool or could use it to influence and benefit Australia. This guy has had MULTIPLE DINNERS with Trump, but now,

"...in recent months, according to sources, Pratt told investigators that he now supports the current U.S. government, describing himself as someone who tends to just "side with the king."

The GOP would elect a speaker in rd 1 and have Biden impeached before the session was over. I could probably whip the Senate conviction right now too.

Now realize that Jack Smith didn't even bother mentioning it because it's too unreliable or he didn't need it. This is why I laugh at the "evidence" presented so far against Biden.

Always good to have this in the back of the mind when seeing very serious people wondering about if Biden has some ulterior motives but quick to wave this away lmao.

I'm just closing my eyes and wondering if maybe the big man is the one sharing the nuclear secrets with every person who will listen? hmmmm

They really wanted a stay on the trial is for damages which was denied and the trial continues on but the moron lawyers didn’t file a stay immediately but waited until after day 3 of the trial to do. The appeal to stop the dissolution of his LLCs wasn’t even challenged by The AG. All of the other remedies she sought and Engoron approves are in place so not really a huge deal.

The monitor is in place. They cannot move any assets. They cannot open new companies in other states without approval. They still have to disclose all third party investors identities and resolve their investments and exposure due to Trumps fraud. So the company still operates and makes money and if they continue the same practices of devaluing they risk incurring more charges.

I don't disagree with any of that. My point is simply that everyone was joyous when the judge said to close everything and even someone like me could see that this wasn't going to happen right away. Everything basically gets put on hold while the trial goes through. The more likely outcome IMO is that the companies get sold and not dissolved. A lot of people lose their jobs if the companies are basically wiped off the slate.

Well...its highly unlikely to get overturned. Trump and his kids ownership stakes will most certainly be dissolved as part of the summary judgement. They are already being monitored and cannot take any assets out of state. They will not be able to conduct anymore business in NY or hold any executive positions on any company again. I am interested in seeing how they handle the current holdings in NY. The current phase of the trial is essentially providing testimony of all the fraud uncovered for Judge Engoron to determine financial disgorgement due to the state. I assume if they have to liquidate their holdings to pay the penalties imposed by the judge that the employees will necessarily be a part of that process.

It was only a matter of time. Their deals were great for them. $5000 fine. Community service. 5-7 years of probation and they they first offender status meaning the felonies will go away if they hold up their end of the deal. I’d expect the rest of the 16 to follow suit soon. Trump won’t get a deal. Interested to see who is next. The deals will get progressively worse for those who drag it out.

The "stolen" money went to his businesses, which he resigned from when he became President, correct? So are we getting a trial for Donald Jr like Hunter Biden now? :laugh: Whose sun winds up in the slammer first? My guess is neither.
