Yeah and Kyren Williams was ranked rb25.

Remember, he is learning a new position and he still has another year of eligibility. I would say we’re still waiting for him to gel.

Liuafa should have 1 more year
Cross should have 1 more year
Bothelo should have 1 more year
Mills should have one more year
Bertrand should have 1 more
Kiser should have 1 more year
Cam hart one more year
Watts one year
So technically we can bring back a majority of starts minus Brown Harper and Baposite

After watching Henderson 5 yards deep in the end zone on the 3 and 19 play I'm all for speeding up the process with Carter.
Yeah, DJ dropped an interception but the guy is playing way better than ever before. With all the nickel and dime we are playing we need at least one more safety to be productive.
In fact, 7 DB's would have made sense on that last drive (gets Bertrand off the field) but they probably don't have that in the playbook.

Should have plenty next year for DB’s I’d like one more safety transfer. Morrison, Mickey, Lewis, Carter, Henderson, watts, Grey. That’s a solid 7 bring in one transfer plus you’ll have Munich, Bell, Sculer, plus bringing in Brauntae Johnson, Moore, Hobbs and Powell that’s 14 guys plus Urlacher at Safety so 15.

Cam's gone for sure, I'd think. Watts should stay.
Cross I don't know what his NFL future is. He's too small. Maybe he comes back to be a captain? Mills and Botelho are weird because while they're both fine, neither are really a plus player. Not sure we actually want them back, but also you can never have enough DLs. (sorry, too soon?)
If the linebackers all leave that's fine. Maybe Liufau stays to try and up his draft stock, but the other two may well be ready to move on in life.

I don't feel I've seen enough of Angeli to write him off yet.

It is pretty amazing how many talent evaluators we have here that haven’t seen a player practice or get much game time. I’d say we’re better off giving Angeli the benefit of the doubt and let the ND staff decide if he‘s ready. If they don’t feel he’s ready then I’m sure they’ll explore the idea of mining the transfer portal for a good fit. Plus we still have 7+ games left this season, maybe we can let that play out as well.

I think you need to bring in a transfer the schedules too easy next year to just rely on Angeli. A perfect guy would be Washington State QB Cameron award. Probally gonna be a couple decent QB’s who hit the portal

I'd be stunned if ND doesn't go hard after Michael Pratt.

I am with you and am rooting for Angeli. Next year will be his 3rd year in the program, he is going to benefit from Hartman this year, and I like that ND has a separate OC/QB coach. Hopefully he has an opportunity to play a couple of 4th qtrs. this year.
