Consider me baffled

12-2 season is what im feeling. Win tonight, drop one in regular season, win first round playoff, traditional nd big game loss in national championship

I’d honestly want a statue of coach marcus. Reminder we haven’t played for a natty since 2012

Man, the hype surrounding this game is the closest thing we've had since the 2005 USC game. Haven't felt anything like it in the years since, even though there have been some pretty huge games.
Rudy ruined the pep rally that year but everything else was electric

Does anybody wonder if our special teams has been holding something back or if we just aren’t going to try now that Mason is gone?

My ultimate homer take is we win tomorrow in 2OT then lose to OSU by 30 in the national championship. I would cry tears of joy
I don’t think I’ve ever down voted anyone. Where’s your spirit? You have no soul, have you been paying attention? It’s all Irish, and at this point, all the time! We win this tomorrow, and if by chance we don’t, we win it all by years end.

I’m predicting potentially our best season since 1988/89!

I like Pete and appreciate his coverage. However, he may be the worst at predicting anything involving ND. Whether it’s the # of OSU fans (he guessed 15-20%) that will be in attendance, the winner of the game, the scoring margin or how ND will do against tomato cans….bet the opposite more times than not.

My $0.02... The Vivid Seats report isn't something that's public and they don't disclose their methodology or how accurate the predictions are, so I'm not going to go off of a Columbus beat reporter's un-verifiable report that Vivid Seats expects a 60-40 split.

Pete might not be great at predicting things but he seemed to defer more to a specific person in the athletic department he spoke with (who he named IIRC) that said it would skew way more towards ND than 60-40. I mean think about that... once you factor the students that would mean there are MORE non-student OSU fans that ND fans for the 60-40 split to be true, which seems absurd.

Me and my wife did see a wine bar shut down to the public for a "private" event. This wine bar was full of ohio state fans. It's not a huge place by any means, maybe sits 50-100 max. But something that caught my eye. I'm not worried about the invasion myself. I think tit's gonna be an Irish party through and through. I was in the stadium for the Cincy game and wasn't as appalled as others on here have stated. Still felt it was an Irish advantage but the team didn't give us much to cheer for.

I hope you & Pete are correct.

I'm waiting for something. One of the items the coaches have been holding back (y)

Sooo, one ticket site says, according to their own algorithm, that the stadium will be 45% OSU fans and your conclusion is that ND fans are soft...
A little bit of history here if you've been paying attention to Notre Dame home games for the past 20-plus years.

Hopefully, it's not at all the case for this game and there is a sea of green with speckles of red. ☘️☘️☘️
