I rewatched season 2 a year or so after watching it the first time. It was damn good the second time. My gripe with it the first time was too difficult to follow. Too wordy. But it’s a dang good story.100%. Season 1 was absolutely iconic and coming up with a story/plot to match it was a very tall order. Almost a blessing in disguise for szn 3 that szn 2 was so bad. It was good, I enjoyed it, looking forward to this rewatch.
What did you think of Dunkirk?Went on a WW2 binge the last couple nights. Got through Darkest Hour, Dunkirk, Mince Meat and Saving Private Ryan. Plan on ending with one of the most historically accurate war movies ever, Michael Bay's Pearl Harbor.
Monument Men, Midway, Downfall, the Pianist. These should be added to your bingeWent on a WW2 binge the last couple nights. Got through Darkest Hour, Dunkirk, Mince Meat and Saving Private Ryan. Plan on ending with one of the most historically accurate war movies ever, Michael Bay's Pearl Harbor.
Why no Springtime for Hitler?Went on a WW2 binge the last couple nights. Got through Darkest Hour, Dunkirk, Mince Meat and Saving Private Ryan. Plan on ending with one of the most historically accurate war movies ever, Michael Bay's Pearl Harbor.
He’s really is horrible lolWatching Silo on Apple TV.. good show but Common is a horrendous actor.
Stunning to watch since Nolan is great at practical effects. My history brain struggled with a couple things but overall a good watch. What did you think of Dunkirk?
I really like Midway. I will be adding the others to my list.Monument Men, Midway, Downfall, the Pianist. These should be added to your binge
I thought about adding Inglorious Bastards since Christof Waltz is fantastic and Brad Pitt speaking French is wonderful. Why no Springtime for Hitler?
Flags Of Our Fathers and Letters From Iwo Jima are both Eastwood directed and top notch. If you've never watched the Spielberg/Hanks series Pacific and Band Of Brothers, they're both exceptionally good and realistic. Hard to go wrong with classics like The Battle Of Britain and The Longest Day.Went on a WW2 binge the last couple nights. Got through Darkest Hour, Dunkirk, Mince Meat and Saving Private Ryan. The shootout in the alley when their cover was blown, and the scene in the house when they mad Rachel McAdams an undercover prostitute is some of the most suspenseful television I've watched.I rewatched season 2 a year or so after watching it the first time. Band of Brothers is Epic! My b-day is right around Memorial Day and I watch the series every year (until last year, shown on HBO, but Discovery - new owners of Time Warner - have moved the all-day showing to Bravo starting this past MD). Pacific was good, but nothing can top BoB!Band of Brothers is an absolute must watch.
Ron Livingston is great in the series. What a leap from Office Space to Band of Brothers.Band of Brothers is Epic! You should watch him in Loudermilk. Very underrated show.Ron Livingston is great in the series. What a leap from Office Space to Band of Brothers.
You’re gonna love the cliffhanger on Yellowstone.Finished Suits Friday night. S8 was a tad under the first 7 seasons, but I thought S9 bounced back to close it out. My only complaint was the over use of the phrases "(fill in name), what are you doing here?" and "(fill in name), What can I do for you?" Something like "Louis, what's up? or "Mike, Didn't expect you to be here".
Suits ranks up there with the best of them and probably would have had more recognition if it wasn't originally aired on USA.
Now I'm getting caught up on S5 of Yellowstone.
They keep pushing back the release date for Szn 5 part two from the writiers strike. It was supposed to be May, from what I recall.....Need the conclusion. You’re gonna love the cliffhanger on Yellowstone.
It’s not gonna be until next year, unfortunately. They keep pushing back the release date for Szn 5 part two from the writiers strike. It was supposed to be May, from what I recall.....Need the conclusion.
