Boy Beasley could fill a lot of perceived holes in defensive backfield. Both corners, free safety maybe both non rover ish safeties. Not sure why he couldn’t play nickel.

Just flipped on IB’s YouTube show and they said that as of now they don’t anticipate ND targeting any other LB’s in the 2024 class. I’m not sure what our chances actually are with Shaw, but man, I would still try and get him. I see a more athletic Te’von Coney.

Shaw is out. KVA can play MLB along with everything else. Shaw is a MLB only and he ain’t going out of state anyways

I think we're all very happy with the offensive side of this class. If we flip Beasley, hard to imagine we don't end up with an elite talent at every level of this defense, and you need that to compete. Have to think one of Bryce Young and Loghan Thomas become great.

Could end sneaky good class. Big iff on Beasley/similar dback committing though.

I think Freeman learned his lesson last year to keep on the top recruits all the way until signing day.

so what site has the best rankings if 247 is trash?
Believe it or not, it’s probably Rivals now.

After getting rid of Farrell, they went out & hired a bunch of football guys to actually scout.

The Rivals guys were the ones at the Elite 11 who were talking Carr up & saying Power is crazy. One of them was standing right next to Power & said all the other scouts saw one thing, & Power saw another. He knew Power saw what they all saw because he was with them, but Power just won’t admit it.

I think if the season goes good we could flip Peyton Woodyard that’s my prediction
Tough to pull a UGA commit. Its not like their recruits will bail because they'll lose a bunch of games and fire the coach.
Does anyone know if Woodyard and KSA are tight? Teammates but that doesn't necessarily mean they are tight.

In all honesty, I’d prefer taking 2 TEs in ‘25 than reach for anyone in ‘24 with the exception of Reddell and Carter Nelson who seem to be locked in at their respective schools. Flanigan seems like he’d be a great take as a complement to Roberts and Schott’s athleticism may force him into the class. Both those guys could potentially end up on D, which would change my opinion. There are other good options in the class though

Rivals has been my go to for recruiting ranking, team ranking, etc. since I can remember. Though I have not always agreed with their rankings of some of our players (bias I’m sure), they seem to usually be the most consistent. Even though they sometimes miss on their evaluations, they also get a lot right. Someone on IE found, or did a comparison of the accuracy of the recruiting sites some time ago. I can’t remember the outcome, but I’d be curious to see where they all rank once again.

If this information was more readily available, maybe these sites would improve their rankings versus things like click bait, personal bias, ineptitude, subscriptions, etc driving rankings.
