Either way, if ND, we absolutely have to hold this guy.

OSU was the pick.
But then he went on the religious retreat & prayed on it.
As of yesterday hadn’t decided.

A post I shared on 247 this early this morning. Didn't really believe until Fong put up the stand alone post.

I didn't want to go on record but I have two ND fan buddies from my time in Orange County (one of them coaches HS in South OC and the other officiates HS and coaches Pop Warner & 14U)

Both have always said KVA is different... like Manti different... when it comes to how he thinks and handles his business. The HS coach has coached against KVA and has friends on SJB's staff and his prediction this week was ND. He said no one really knows but that the money difference between OSU & ND shouldn't matter as much here because KVA knows he'll make millions at ND in 3-4 years.

My response was, this kid has already had a major injury and that extra up front $ has to weigh heavy after going through that experience but he told me I was a weak stick and to quit crying... like the typical Yinzer Steeler fan he is. Oops... hope I didn't out ya, you lurker!

To his credit, this is the guy who turned me onto Jarrett Patterson before he committed to ASU... among a gazillion others.

So there you have it and I still wouldn't put a penny on it if Vegas had a line. I'm usually a glass half full guy but Signing Bonus NIL has disrupted the force when reading the tea leaves in football recruiting.

KVA is literally the last kid in this class who cares about money.

Kid is straight up spiritual, like Manti, and more mature than most on this board.

Regardless of where he goes, it’s not NIL.

The reason OSU is in it is because they were the first to recruit him, back when Al Washington was there.

USC because of loyalty to home & friends/classmates/coaches.

ND for all the ND reasons.

This is a legit man who happens to be 17 years old.

Great post! Manti-like & ND for the ND reason. I thought ND was the first to recruit him when MF was our DC. KVA seems like a good kid, the perfect fit for ND. I wish there were more recruits like him, where its not the NIL.

But today he is acting all holier than thou about it.
