It was definitely different! Probably a lot less safe in some ways, much safer in others. Fewer rules. We rode in the back of pickups, didn't wear seatbelts. rode our bikes around town unsupervised all day long, and did a LOT of dangerous stuff without our parents knowing or even worrying about it. Amazingly, we didn't seem to get killed or injured any more than today's kids do.

Maybe Alabama and Mississippi and all the other red shitholes should make getting guns harder, which is where all of these illegal firearms are coming from.

Idk what social justice initiatives have to do with the video you posted above. The only ways to prevent that crime would be a cop randomly patrolling that back alley at the exact right time, oooooooorrr make it harder for that person to have a gun in the first place. But that's basically a fools errand when you have hillbillies flooding the state with illegally sold guns because it's their only export.

Enforcement of laws will make it harder. These kids are living their best life without consequences from school to the juvenile system and then the prosecutors. I live in DC. Homicide is down 10% in big cities across America over the last year but up 10% in DC. It comes down to decreased police and prosecutors over the last year, largely due to what the federal government actually provides vs local stuff.

Liberals flood the streets with dangerous people, and then innocent people get killed. I don't give a crap how many people are in jail now; the number is too low when people with double-digit priors keep popping up in the headlines.
