He knows they're just talking heads, right? It's the committee he should be mad at.<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">I may never watch an ESPN analyst talk again for the rest of my life...</p>— Coach Mike Elko (@CoachMikeElko) <a href="https://twitter.com/CoachMikeElko/status/1340711618259406855?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">December 20, 2020</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
I mean, he could have stayed at ND instead of chasing a paycheck...no sympathy.

That was my first thought—that he would be an absolutely great fit there. Makes more sense to me than Greg Roman. There's no chance Stanford tries to hire him away, is there?
Just got a commit from this 2024 QB
One of they most highest ranked recruits in recent history

That’s a pretty big get with Penn State in his final group.

Have you watched Vanderbilt over the last 20 years. I don’t think he is anywhere near a hot seat.If Elko has another season like 2022, he won't be there to coach this kid.
This is a big swing and miss post.Have you watched Vanderbilt over the last 20 years. I don’t think he is anywhere near a hot seat.
How so?This is a big swing and miss post.
Elko doesn't coach Vanderbilt lolHow so?
My bad, got my former DCs confused, Lea’s at Vandy. In that case I thought Elko had a solid season for Duke and he wouldn’t be on a hot seat either.Elko doesn't coach Vanderbilt lol
Ok full misunderstanding of the post now. I see he was originally saying if he has another good season he would be picked up by a bigger school. My bad, got my former DCs confused, Lea’s at Vandy. In that case I thought Elko had a solid season for Duke and he wouldn’t be on a hot seat either.
He’d be wise to steer clear. Some Aggies think Elko would be a legit contender to take the job if they can Jimbo.

I could see that. He's also the type of guy that I think would crush it at a school like University of Washington or Wisconsin. Places that have a lot of funding but usually need to focus on recruiting the second tier of prospects and developing.Might be the next Aggie HC after Jimbo
