I really have not brought anything positive to the thread today. My apologies. I want this kid to take the ND experience and run with it all the way for the next 40 years. Not a huge Brian Urlacher fan off the field, and the mother has had her issues. Just rooting for this kid. I'll leave it at that.

Coach | Notre Dame Could Be Fit For 2024 Safety Kennedy Urlacher

2024 Arizona safety Kennedy Urlacher will announce his college decision this evening with the Irish among the very top contenders.

He definitely isn't a fraud of contact in his tape. He's most certainly a SS/Rover at the next level.

On his visit they compared him to Alohi Gilman.

He's a run/hit guy at the next level. Those guys have value and usually significant impacts on ST's. Brian Mason would've loved this young man.

However, this doesn't really do much to build the type of S depth I think we need most.

I mentioned this before but there is no part of me that thinks this all falls on O'Leary. The decisions to not take more guys last cycle or the cycle before while we waited on 5 star guys that were tough pulls or guys that (in hindsight to us but shouldn't have been for them) were not going to last seems like above his pay grade.

Freeman and Bowden have not done a good job setting O'Leary up for success. Which is likely why he's still here.
