Would guess he's closer to 6'2" 225 based on the junior highlight tape. Looks like a good pass rusher nonetheless. USC and Miami offers as well.

Same HS as Caleb Downs. So, big time GA HS football competition.

This seems either over already or coming very soon.

FWIW, Loy said staff measured him at 6’4.5.

I’m guessing with over already especially with us being out for the Smith twins now

He looks big to me on film. So instinctive, they line him up at linebacker and he just finds the ball. He doesn't have quite the same twitch as some of the other pure pass rushers, and with that size, I'd think he's a big end.

I prefer him to the Smith twins. Plays violent against some of the best hs competition.

do we know if they passed on both? Or was it a situation where they only wanted the vyper?
There was an article on II that indicated it appears ND has moved on for both of them but as we all know, things could always change.

No Rivals ranking either. On3 says three star. Duke, Northwestern, Vanderbilt, Stanford, Virginia, Wake Forest offers.

His junior year HUDL highlights are fun. High motor, sense of urgency, just goes downhill to the ball. He's fun.

Looks like the higher academic schools sure want him.

247 has Southern Cal, Miami, UNC, and a 2021 playoff team as offers as well.

Won state in GA’s second highest class playing DE, TE, and MLB.

Seems like he’ll be a high 3 star at the very least by the end of the cycle, but likely a 4 star (Jamie U and ISD have him as a 90 on their site).

Here’s an interview and film breakdown Sinclair did on Irish Illustrated back in February

Would be a great get for sure! Side question... Is that a good ole' mullet? If so, should we start calling him Cole Mullet? :ROFLMAO:

Gap closer is a player that closes the gap between ND and the big boys.

Shortly ago, in a back and forth about the Smith twins that continues at the 247 board. Loy dropped that we have one silent and one guy they want to save a spot for. Easy guess is Mullins (silent) and Bryce Young (savings spot for).

Does Loy mention at all the target number for DL this cycle?

Assuming Mullins and Young are on board, we have a few top targets that should not be passed up on. I get the sense that there are legitimately three top interior DL targets on the board - Umeh, Scott, and Lindsay, and that the staff would take 2 out of the 3. Two of the three paired with Wafle on the inside, with Young (SDE) & Mullins (VYPER).

Im not sure how much the staff wants to grab a second Big End in this class, seeing as either two out of three last year, Mukam, Traore, & Vernon will likely project and stay outside.

There are still some VYPERs on the board besides Mullins. I wonder if they push for two even if it’s not just for Rushing. I’m not positive how high the staff is on Loghan Thomas in this scenario, but they do like Brian Huff a lot. Cameron Clark I don’t think they are pushing for, and this visit is huge for ND for establishing some sort of traction moving forward with Mylachi Williams.

I would imagine they will take 5 for sure...and the right 6 (maybeeee 7). Rushing, Scott, and Lindsey are 3 who could make it 7. They have spots whenever imo
