That game was downright hard to watch. Bad officiating, horrible shooting, and just overall sloppy play. Lucky for them that MSU just couldn't hit the broad side of a barn today. No bench really hurt the Irish...They only played 6, and you could see them wearing down as MSU just harassed them all day. That's the worst game I've seen Citron play all year, but I just think she's mentally/physically exhausted from basically having to do it all since Miles went down. Ebo definitely won this game for the Irish, as they just couldn't match her physicality.
Indeed. Citron was awful and Ebo was great. Citron isn’t really a point guard but we have no other options as Jenna Brown keeps showing in her 2 minutes of playing time that she can’t get it done.
Ebo completely handled the big girl from MSU. Blocked five shots How does that happen?

Easily the ugliest NDWBB game I've ever watched. Great game by Ebo. Not sure who's next for the ladies, but it's obviously a very different team without Myles & Mabrey, and the competition only gets tougher.

They play MD. I watched them right after the ND game. I don’t know if ND has the offense to keep up with the terps.

Lost at home to them earlier this year with Miles and Mabrey both available. I wouldn't be surprised if MD is favored by double digits.

Ya, very likely the end of the road for the Irish. Sweet 16 without Miles and Mabrey...Pretty much maxed out their potential.

Regardless of what happens during the rest of this game against Maryland, this has been a great coaching job by Ivey. Lost the best PG in the country and her best 3 point shooter, and still has a chance to get to the Elite 8.

Very excited to see the product she puts out next year. Almost everyone returns, the two true freshmen have been very impressive, and two more 5 stars join the team this summer.

I think the 23/24 team has a legit chance at winning the title.

Maryland’s run in the third was too much to overcome.

Not having a true point guard killed them today. Just getting the ball in bounds in the back court was a struggle.

It was still a very good season with all that went through and with a couple 5 stars coming in they are still in an upward trend.

Maryland dominated in the second half, ND missed Miles. Can Ebo have any remaining eligibility? She is a beast in the post.

They have a great class coming in for next season and they could make a deep run in next year's tournament.

Looks like Olivia Miles will have someone to give her an occasional breather next year.

Breather? Major understatement. Hildago’s going to play a lot from day one. We haven’t had a defender like her since?? No one I can think of. Bet she and Miles both play major minutes.
And Risch, the “other “ recruit, is likely to play right away as well. She’ll instantly be our best outside shooter and the rest of her game is very solid too

I haven’t seen Risch play. Hopefully what you say is true.

Miles is the best PG in the country. While Hidalgo will see significant minutes, I don’t think you can sit Miles for that long. We saw in February/March that she’s the engine of this offense.

Interesting. Did she not play at Maryland? I wonder if that does anything for the middle sister/Maryland signed.

Reynolds played in 22 games, but saw no more than 12 minutes on the floor and averaged just five minutes per game.

Middle sister signed back in November. Hard to imagine her getting a release from her NLI. She is recovering from a significant injury though.

Hidalgo and Miles can be on the court at the same time. And they will be. She's too good not to play 15-20 minutes a game at the beginning of the year. Probably push 25-30 by the end.

It'll be interesting to see how Ivey manages the bench. I thought Bransford and Prosper played great as true freshmen; they'll only get better and demand more minutes next season. The big 3 of Miles/Citron/Westbeld combined with Bransford/Propser/Hidalgo/Risch will be very good. Hopefully one of Watson/Ebo comes back with Nat Marshall.

Ivey will have a lot of talent to work with.

Pretty sure Ebo is out of eligibility as she's played more than 20 games in each of 5 seasons. Watson still has another year of eligibility, though, don't see why she would leave.

Yeah that was my point HH and Miles can both play together with OM the primary ball handler. Those two on the break after a Hildago steal are going to be a common sight for the next two years

Maybe they should go after Hailey Van Lith...wait she cannot stand ND and I don't know if I would want her in an ND uniform. I'll bet on Lauren Betts over Van Lith.

She’s a great talent, but I don’t think she’s really needed in South Bend. The guard spot is the deepest it’s been in quite sometime.

maybe you don't know but we have developed a rather hated rivalry over the past ten or so years with both coaching staffs and programs in general not liking each other and so i don't see her wanting to even visit let alone wanting to actually play in South Bend

I am aware of what she has said about ND, I am also surprised she is transferring.

Per an inside source of mine, I found out that, as crazy as it sounds, Van Lith was unhappy with the amount of shots she was getting per game. I don’t know where she’s going, but being more of a focal point of the offense is her goal.

If anyone questions my source, just have an admin reach out and I’ll happily validate that I’m telling the truth.

Sounds like a bad locker room teammate tbh. Hope she doesn’t come to ND.

Van Lith pretty badly wants to be on the NIL/Social Media clout level of the Cavinders, Clark, or Reese. No thanks.

Averaged 18 ppg last season and was the 2021 A10 Co-Player of the Year. Very solid depth piece.
