Never happened to me, the only sport I played at a competitive/respectable level was soccer. The biggest thing growing up was making sure everyone had a EKG done regularly for hockey since we had some incidents of kids having heart attacks on the bench. All doctor stuff was deferred to the kids family doctor.

Yeah figured Canada might be different. I am not aware of any requirements for American kids at the club sport level, but school sponsored stuff.. physical was required. First time was very uncomfortable.

Studies have shown that approximately 95% of the money given by journalists to political campaigns was given to liberal/Dem candidates, and that about 95% of journalists consider themselves liberal/Dems. You really don't think that affects their slant on stories, which stories they pursue, or how they go after various figures? Would you be happy with 95% of the officials calling your team's game to be fans of the other team?
Well, you’re not alone in your thoughts. I just happen to disagree. I think professional reporters are able to put aside their personal biases and report fairly and effectively regardless of their political leanings. If they’re reporting negatively and more frequently about Republicans then maybe it’s because they deserve it?
