He had a good story as a recruit and was highly ranked. Are guys enthralled with him cause his name is Rocco?
He was a top 50 overall recruit and ND beat out Michigan to land him. ...And his name is Rocco. Are guys enthralled with him cause his name is Rocco?
If his issues are foot speed and quickness, a move to DL aint itHe had a good story as a recruit and was highly ranked.
But yeah maybe he could shift to DT.
To be fair, Eichenberg was basically an afterthought until Harry left for the Bears in 2018.Literally everything I’ve heard from beat reporters on Spindler has been underwhelming. I think this is pure conjecture by Hansen and he is going off of recruiting rankings. People were saying Schrauth had already passed him last year. Would be very happy if it turned on for Spindler
I think that’s the key as much as anything. We’ve got two rookie guards. Spindler and Patty Coogs exceeded expectations today.Lads,
The line was dominant in both phases today.
ND can only be a title contender if the oline is Joe Moore award level. Saw big blocks from both guards.
Spindler’s got to be happy! Great for him.I think that’s the key as much as anything. We’ve got two rookie guards. Spindler and Patty Coogs exceeded expectations today.
Each time I focused on him he did well. Nice at coming off a block to engage someone else.Spindler’s got to be happy! Great for him.
I wonder if that safety said his prayers
He didn’t fully recruit the 2024 OL class. It's one week, but I was a bit concerned with Rudolph, not going to lie. Some of it has to do with recruiting - despite it being a down year, I have concerns that Rudolph seemingly recruits smaller OL - but also because I wasn't all that impressed with his work at VT.
That being said...Saturday was a terrific start, and I'd be happy to be wrong about this guy.
Yeah, I know they won’t look that good against everyone on the schedule, but it’s the first time I call recall more recently that we see the accolades on the field. I realize that we’ve had some good to great OL’s in the past, but they never really felt that great to me. Coaching and attitude is everything. If this continues it just makes me wonder what our past lines could’ve been. It’ll be fun to watch. It's one week, but I was a bit concerned with Rudolph, not going to lie. The first OL class that’s his is not small, they are huge.
Strebig 6’8 300
Augustine 6’7 290
Black 6’7 295
Byrne 6’6 290
The two top OL in the class Sanders & Petty, aren’t even big. 255 & 260.
And Rudolph was very well respected at VT & Wisconsin.
Big Fish didn't give up any pressures Week 1. Did he screw up yesterday? I missed some of the game for PeeWee football. He needs to spark a fire under Fisher’s ass.
