Yes sir. Me too. My son has just discovered the Stone Temple Pilots and loves them. So we were talking about them and Scott Weilland's love for ND football last night.

I had no idea that his dad played football for ND.

I think his step dad was an ND alum but I searched for his step dad's name & ND Football and never found anything about him playing besides an interview with one of his STP bandmates.

Didn’t Tim McCarver and Prime have a problem at some point? Real good baseball analyst. Raquel was a dime at any age.
Yeah he critiqued Prime’s spotlight and Deon took exception to it and dumped a bunch of water or some stuff on him

Yes but there was a picture of him in an ND uniform. Maybe a walk on?

Actor Tom Sizemore suffered a brain aneurysm on February 18th and has been in critical condition since. Today, doctors informed his family that there was “no further hope and have recommended end-of-life decision.” Seems likely he'll be allowed to pass away in the next day or so.

Great actor but tortured human. I know his career was torpedoed by his drug abuse but wondered if it ever got back on track. So many good roles in movies like “True Romance”, “Heat” & “Blackhawk Down”

A fire fighter in Buffalo was killed in a 4 alarm fire today. And just like I said it would happen very little attention paid. I bet they don’t get 2% of the support the Bills did.

Just goes to show that first responders are only cared about when they are needed by someone and other than that just an afterthought.

Very sad situation. RIP young man.

Actor Tom Sizemore's death was just announced a few minutes ago. He suffered a brain aneurysm two weeks ago and his family was told earlier this week that there was no hope of improvement. Sizemore was 61.

A state trooper was killed yesterday up here in North East indiana trying to deploy stop sticks in order to stop a chase on the interstate. He originally was helping work accidents caused by the snow. Why morons try to get away instead of just taking it is absolutely beyond me.

Gary Rossington, guitarist for Lynyrd Skynyrd, passed away today at the age of 71. Rossington was the last surviving original member of the band. He was probably best known for his famous slide guitar work on Free Bird, but was a very good all around guitar player.

I thought Rossington had died years ago. Maybe that was the piano player. A very talented band that was struck down too early due to a plane crash. Rossington and Collins tried out with their own band for a while but Collins died back in the 80s I think. I believe it was just Rossington and the piano player left from the original Skynyrd for a long time.

Ed King passed not too long ago,… he was part of the original couple albums but joined just before they got big.

Although I was never a huge fan, Skynyrd was my first concert. Summer of '75 outdoor show in Birmingham, all the original guys, and Montrose absolutely tearing it up for 45 minutes as the #2 act. A good day.

and you dog me out for not liking Lennon.... I love Skynyard. Simple Man, Working for MCA, Tuesday's Gone, Curtis Leow, I ain't the One, Don't Ask No Questions.

They are prob a top-five all-time rock band for me.

I don't dislike Skynyrd. They were just not in my top 10. I like several of their songs, especially Call Me The Breeze. And I've never dogged you for not liking Lennon. It's your dislike of LENIN that annoys me, you bourgeois capitalist pig

Gimme Back My Bullets might be my favorite Skynyrd song.

Saw Skynyrd with Ted Nugent, in ‘94. Was a blast. The crowd was as entertaining as the bands.

Robert Blake died today from heart diseased at the age of 89. Best known for his '70s hit show Baretta, for which he won an Emmy. Blake starred as a child actor in the Our Gang/Little Rascals shorts and also in several movies. He was an immensely talented actor, but had a reputation as being very difficult to work with. In 2002 he was charged with the 2001 murder of his wife outside a Los Angeles restaurant. He was ultimately acquitted, but found responsible in a civil suit. Very, very talented guy, but a bit of a head case.

IIRC he used his wife as a punching bag on more than one occasion.
