Who do you suggest they spent the money on?
They won't spend the money, so I think that's a moot question. At every step when they've have the opportunity to spend the money to get "THE GUY," they've refused to do it. I'm not saying Ludwig fits that description, it's just a continuation of the pattern. If a choice is to be made between crossing the line into playing with the big boys or not, they don't. They are uncomfortable going all-in in any aspect of the football program.

Okay haha. So they went the cheap route but you have no idea who the high price alternative would be. You realize they outbid LSU for Marcus Freeman just the year prior? Doesn’t really fit the every step of the way story.

It would be Fickell by the way, who’s making $7.9 at Wisconsin.

The Denbrock idea got me thinking,.... There are close to 50 million kangaroos in Australia and something like 3.5 million people in Uruguay which means if the kangaroos were to invade Uruguay, each person will have to fight 14 kangaroos.
Would you rather fight 14 kangaroo sized Jack Swarbricks or fight BoT but its comprised of kangaroos??????

This board has fucked with my head the last few days.

Burn him at the stake for his 24 yo mistake. It was 15 years ago. Never convicted.

Which is all the more reason to not be giving the haters free shots.

This will make for an interesting public dynamic if ND hires Parker now. The blame for any failure would probably fall on Swarbrick, in a public sense.

They have scooped the beat writers at every single turn during this search though.

I actually believe Loy does know some of these things. But the Gug has him by the balls on what and when to report things. So he’ll claim he hinted at this first. 100% guaranteed.

It’s worrisome to unbelievable degree Prister and Sampson can not view him as a candidate while he literally is interviewing. They are either completely clueless or feeding NDs misdirection.

Loy has been saying it will be Parker since the dumpster caught fire a few days ago.

Even a broken beat writer is right once per coaching search.

You literally cannot do worse than hiring Parker. I cannot believe how much they hyped up Freeman as having an "opportunity" and a "plan" and all of these options just to go with a crappy internal promotion.

Worst case scenario: Freeman gives up on this fiaso and hires Parker as an FU to Swarbrick and the administration. He already gets a pass on whatever happens next season based on the public shitstorm this created. Ryan Day loses to Michigan again and goes to the NFL.
