I have a lot of issues with some games like this. Sometimes, they're just SO big that it's hard for me to feel like I can drop the time into it to make it worth it. It sucks, I'll have a ton of fun with the game and spend like 40 hours of play over a couple of weeks and then just get bored and move on because I'm exhausted by it, but I only saw a fifth of the game? It's one of the reasons why I was never able to get into The Witcher 3.Trying to find energy to get into Kingdom Come,… I really grinder through that insane tutorial only to immediately start the Theresa DLC by mistake and I finally finished that last night. It’s like a full week just to actually start the game,… now I’m there and my tank is really low in terms of want to

Man you’d really struggle with this game. I’ve played through Witcher 3 fully three times and am working currently on a fourth. I will,… all I have right now is that and W3… but damn,… what a startgotta persevere!![]()
Yeah, I often describe The Witcher 3 as "the greatest game I've ever played that I absolutely did not enjoy." It felt like 30-40 hours of work and barely made it to Skellige before I just moved on.Man you’d really struggle with this game. I'm really enjoying it so far. After finishing that DLC I spent most of last night in Rattay learning how to pickpocket, practiced picking locks (mouse and keyboard), and getting a feel for the town. I didn't even really quest, save for unlocking the fence so I could steal stolen goods...which I did a lot of. I did manage to incur my first crime though. I had a small sidequest to steal $50 from a guard. I decided to wait till nightfall, only to find the guards in the town didn't approve of me slinking around town without a torch. Apparently that's a law, pretty interesting detail! I made it into the house of the guard, snuck upstairs only to have him wakeup often as I tried to pickpocket him because my Sneak was too low. I ended up having to knock his ass out, but apparently he saw me before I put him to sleep...should have killed him. When I came back to town the next day they wanted to charge me $200 for beating someone up. I told them I was broke, which was a lie, so they threw me in the clink for 10 days. I kept the cash and all I really lost was some nourishment and energy. Made a pretty penny selling off the guard's armor too.Trying to find energy to get into Kingdom Come,… I really grinder through that insane tutorial only to immediately start the Theresa DLC by mistake and I finally finished that last night. I really want to get into some of the Skills deeper. I've used Pickpocket and Lockpicking a bit, but I want to play with Hunting and some of the others too. I spent quite a bit of time sharpening/repairing weapons on the grindstone last night working on the Maintenance Skill. Took a bit to get the rhythm and angle down, but it increases the value of weapons when you sell them off and it's free so...I think I'll be doing that a lot.
I'm really impressed with how deep this game is. Obviously you don't have to do everything, but I've been having fun just existing in the world and finding ways to make cash.
With my ill gotten stolen goods fenced I bought some black clothing from the tailor to help with that. The only fighting training I've had was in Skalitz with that roaming captain dude. The rest of my skill came naturally from slashing at bandits for 3 hours on the way to bury my parents... mostly because my Agility wasn't high enough for the sword I picked up in the Guard Tower back at the castle lol.Wearing lighter clothing increases your ability to sneak successfully compared to wearing armor. Make sure you seek out Bernard to train your fighting skills also!

this is kinda cheap but everytime you go back to Skalitz a set of NPC's will spawn. Sometimes its just all bandits but other times its bandits versus guards. You can sit back and watch and hope the guards win (or help them) and then loot the bandits bodies for armor/weapons and items. Then you can either wear them or lug them back to Rattay and sell them to vendors for groshenWith my ill gotten stolen goods fenced I bought some black clothing from the tailor to help with that. I might do that. I shred any chance of having a moral Henry last night after I killed my first guard. I was stealthing around that tournament area in Rattay and I decided to loot some guards. At first I was just knocking them out, but after one woke up I decided killing them might be safer. I was up around the gate tower where they sleep and I dumped a body on the steps nearby not realizing that roaming guards pass through there. I then ran into a scenario where guards found the body and I was trapped in the corner of the gate tower with guards running back and forth looking for the killer not realizing I was 10 yards away in the corner. Not their brightest moment nor mine, but apparently there's a blind spot in that hallway for the AI. Once morning came I was able to slip out the other side of the tower and nobody tried to stop me.this is kinda cheap but everytime you go back to Skalitz a set of NPC's will spawn. aha the game does let you get away with cheesing the AI sometimes. Another one is to break into shops at night and steal their stuff. The miller has a chest too where he puts all the stuff you sell him which you can lockpick and steal then. His money regenerates though so you can continually sell/loot/sell to him and get richI might do that. I shred any chance of having a moral Henry last night after I killed my first guard. The game they are talking about is a PC game that you can also play on console,… I have it for ps5Assuming this is a PC game? Are these regular PC’s? I’ve never gotten into PC gaming and admittedly know nothing about the systems. I’ve always been a PlayStation fan. My brother just switched to XBox (he loves it) because the PS5 was unavailable at the time but he’s now wanting to get into PC gaming.
Is the PS5 worth it to upgrade from the 4? I don’t feel I’ve gotten my money’s worth out of the 4 yet.The game they are talking about is a PC game that you can also play on console,… I have it for ps5
The graphics aren’t a big upgrade at all,… load times are tho. Once you get used to the next gen load times it’s hard to deal with last genIs the PS5 worth it to upgrade from the 4? I don’t feel I’ve gotten my money’s worth out of the 4 yet.

So I stole some stuff from Rattay but the miller won’t buy it from me,… the goods don’t show as an option to sell???
Oh I know that, I did the ring thing,… I can sell SOME stuff,… but not the vast majority of it. He only takes daggers and like one book,… I have a horde of dozens of books, weapons and clothes,… none of that shows up in option to sellYou have to do some quests for him before he trusts you

Actually typing this out may have helped,… I think I didn’t toggle over to sell stuff to him,… he sells stuff too right? I guess I never thought of that and now I’m away from the game. If so that’s a bit embarrassing. Man some mechanics of this game are hard to get used to.Oh I know that, I did the ring thing,… I can sell SOME stuff,… but not the vast majority of it.
