Could certainly see him as an analyst (he's not going to get an OC job, and one could argue analyst at ND is better than being a position coach at a lesser school). But frankly if Parker moved on and McNulty slotted back into the TE job I wouldn't be sad about it.BC canned McNulty yesterday. So he’s the fall guy for their awful year.
Love to see him back at ND but no place to put him, maybe analyst?
Someone on the offensive staff will likely move on to something else in the coming month or two. I'd go ahead and take him as an analyst with the promise he has a job once that spot opens up.Could certainly see him as an analyst (he's not going to get an OC job, and one could argue analyst at ND is better than being a position coach at a lesser school). Nothing against Parker I'm just not clear what he brings to the table for us, whereas McNulty is a known sounding board for Rees, and to the extent anyone "developed" Mayer it was him.
